This is why I have followed you for years now. You have such a realistic view of homemaking. It does not matter the country or religion....holidays and festivals can get hectic and crazy. You have so much fun even if the family is small. Then the day after....LOL! You are so exhausted! Usually I help my family but the day after we all are on the couch or in bed napping. This is a good realistic way to think of recovery and clean up. I especially like the "declutter" idea. I am going to talk with family about that. Great idea. Hugs!
This video is absolutely Showers of refreshment. Just like ur dear close relatives bidding good bye after few days spending in ur home. Then u meet the following day with a sense of vacuum and chasing away the languidity to steer through the task.

Though I don't celebrate diwali, after seeing your cleaning and prep video on diwali I started liking the festival and try to clean my home the way you all do.... thanks for this motivation

If I feel low on doing my day to day routine I randomly watch your videos and feel like I can do so much more and motivate myself doing even more than I actually do.
A note on this I have tried really realy hard to maintain my families wardrobe after cleaning it everytime but I'm just unable to do it. It's so frustrating that anything I do it clumsy can you pls help on this. A wardrobe that atleast stays for a couple of months pls I have a toddler and it's really hard to keep repeating my chores weekly.

When my daughter was a toddler I generally avoided to fold each and every clothes she has, ex. I never folded her slips and undergarments, have bin system. Just throw it in there. Same you can do with home wear. Last but not the least, let it get messy, because it will be :-) just set a timer for 10 minutes the day suits your schedule and give a quick tidy up. Let me know if this works for you.

Hi Jaya, Cheer's... I also make this mix Khichree, with littlebit of variation.
I @times add a spoon of garam masala, sometimes soya chunks or Bengali style dry roasted moong dal and loads of veggies, it taste's great!!! I add raw mustard oil during cooking and ghee @ the end. 👍
