Very nice but telling us to guess is not how to learn, you first need to play divers frequencies after each other while showing what frequency is boosted then later after the student have heard it long enough to remember, then they should start guessing.
This is pretty close to how my ears training courses were at berklee in my critical listening class. So it is effective. You want to learn how to identify frequencies just by listening. Other courses and material will familiarize you with the frequency spectrum but after a basic knowledge of the spectrum and basic of eq this is the next step and a valid ear training video. If this is too advanced for you then there are videos with more visual representation to help you see what you are hearing and that's perfectly fine, I started that way. This may be a step up for most. Crucial exercise for anyone pursuing mixing and/or mastering.

yeah it would be easier but that way you're just guessing based on what you've already heard you're not learning really
