Ou fan here, looking forward to the game. It should be a great one. Not one serious OU fan or media member thinks this is our biggest game of the century. Maybe top 15 most anticipated home games of the century but definitely not anywhere close to the biggest regular season game of the past 20 years.
What is the biggest or most important game greatly depends on the individual fan. For me as a fan living along the Tennessee and Alabama border it is always going to be the Alabama game no matter what anyone says. NC STATE will be a blowout just as much as the OU game. We are going to be exponentially better than everyone outside Tennessee believes. If they are as good as I believe if the regular season win total less than 10 wins it will be a disappointment. I want a natty this year or bust.
Oklahoma is a big game for both teams, but for different reasons. Being a home game for Oklahoma is definitely an advantage. It won't surprise me no matter which team wins. Alabama being later in the season, makes it a bigger game in my opinion.
I agree with you Eric. My personal opinion is that the Oklahoma game is the difference between 9-3 and 11-1. I think if they’re good enough to beat NC State on a neutral field and OU in Norman then they will beat UF & Bama at home. If they don’t win in Norman I think they will split the UF & Bama games at home.
NC State is the biggest game right now, and it's not even close. A win there sets the tone for the season. Also, NC State has a real chance to be a playoff team. That's huge to have on your resume.
I’m curious if there are 5 teams at 10-2 or better. Could a 10-2 Missouri be left out due to strength of schedule? Or could a team lose the title game ad be out with that 3rd loss despite finishing ahead of 2 or 3 other teams? Thinking UGA, TEX, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Missouri are best bets for playoff….
I agree if we get to the bye week undefeated it's sets the tone and builds confidence for the younger guys on both side of the ball for sure! So it's the most important but for now Bama at home is our biggest game to me
I dreamed last night we beat Bama at home and again in the playoffs and all the sudden we had beat them 3 out of the last 4 games and had a big lead on the road in the game we loss. Sure would be sweet!
Thats just horrible that 2018 OMG you know us fans from then are loyal for sure. So glad we have turned that page and going back to more like the 90s thank JESUS AND WHITE AND COACH H.
Alabama. Beating Alabama at home again is a bigger win than a road loss to Oklahoma hurts. Beating Oklahoma, then losing to Alabama is also a bigger loss.
Because we can lose to Georgia and still go to the playoff. If we lose to any other team, we’ll probably also lose to Georgia and not go to the playoff
Alabama at home and Oklahoma on the road isn't a low bar...but I know what you saying it really comes down to 4 games Oklahoma Alabama Florida and Georgia if we 2 or 3 those we give ourselves a great chance to get in the playoffs and make a run! GBO
Why would you drag out things that make Vols look bad! We all know what happened in the past. Why not go back the 1990’s and talk about that? It’s in the past too! Bad games, bad numbers, bad decade, blah blah blah. Good lord.
Tennessee has no chance against Oklahoma. We know TN can’t win on the road and Nico is still young. With Zero Defense. Couldn’t even beat a shit Florida on the road.
@@JustTellingTheTruth556 Heupel is 6-7 on the road; only two of those loses were upsets, with ranked wins against Kentucky, Pitt, and LSU. Yes, we’re better at home, but saying we “can’t win on the road” or “zero defense” while we have maybe the best D-line in the SEC is asinine

Absolutely agree. Best of luck except that particular game;) 😆 ML&R GBO TNJR
OU.....that is going to set the tone for the entire season

OK game will be most important to define how the season looks.
I always loved Josh…
Game should be a banger!!
BOOMER
I agree that Tennessee vs Oklahoma is going to be huge game. College Gameday will be in town for that one.

I choose to ignore the dooley, butch and Pruitt years as well

I feel bad I didn’t watch all the videos the last week 😢. Was on vacation 😂😂

I agree Eric, TN wins that one, and has one the previous three, they go into bye week 4-0, and ready to take on the rest of their schedule.

To me Alabama is biggest but Oklahoma is the most important for early success on the road and for confidence. GBO

Most important game is the first one and next one GBO🍊
17-3 revenge. Let’s go!

Breaking news! 50% is half!
Oklahoma is to the 2024 season what Florida was to 2022.
Sorry to judge without listening, I say neither, UGA, if we are gonna believe we are dark horse candidates for the CFP. Why set the bar low?

That’s just stupid

@@JustTellingTheTruth556 I bet we have a top 15 defense this year! How's that for no defense! Fair weather fan
