You've got a great eye for vintage stuff! Not just drums but cars, bikes etc. I always look forward to seeing what you've got in the works this week. Keep up the great work.
That's cheered me up Shawn I'm in hospital resting after an op so it's just what the Doctor ordered can't play the drums for weeks, it's going to be hell
Thanks for your continued support brother! And sorry to hear that but hopefully the op does the trick with whatever was bothering you! get well soon! Take care man!
Great video Shawn. I feel like since I moved to upstate NY, I don’t see the deals that I used to on Long Island but it might also be my diminished drive for looking? Your videos inspire me though, I’ll keep watching, learning and maybe this’ll light a fire under my ass. Thank you! PJ.
Hey, Shawn! Happy New Year! I’m very excited to see all your new up and coming videos! Especially the restoration of that Super Ludwig! I happen to have an extra connecting rod for a super sensitive thats from the 70’s. I’m not sure if it will fit a 30’s drum. But from what I had seen in the video, the connections look the same. I’d be willing to trade/sell it to you. I’m also on a hunt of my own. Would you happen to have a Slingerland radio king 3-point throw off arm by any chance? Let me know what we can do! Thanks!
Shawn, i am looking for a few bits and pieces. I need 4 lugs for a 16 by 18 floor tom ludwig rocker . Need all the tension lugs the screws and washers that hold them on. I would be happy to pay a fair price plus shipping. Let me know in your next video comments. Thanks Stan
I have had it now for well over 20 years. I put a p83 on it. Triple flange hoops. But first I decided to polish it where I cut thru the nickle…. Shines like a penny
You’re always talking about pots… yet I don’t ever see any. 😂 Sorry… I know it’s probably the oldest joke in the book, but I like ya, so did it anyway! Stay warm and happy friend.

Ya it's wicked cool how you breath new life into vintage gear. Good stuff man
Thank you 🙏
I was on the Ludwig site yesterday and could not find super sensitive on there. I think it is the best snare made and glad I have one.
I don't think they still make them, plenty of older ones out there though! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the shout out Shawn! 😎
You got some good stuff there again.
Thanks for the continued support! Enjoy your stuff!
Love em!
Thanks!

Thanks man 🙏 happy new year as well! I don't have the arm, or even a whole strainer. I'd be interested in that connecting rod though!
I have the 5 inch brass drum you showed. No name or badge on it, but it looks identical.
Interesting!
I was told it was a 1920's Leedy. But it looks like a Ludwig....

I think I have the lugs and screws, no T rods but unfortunately I'm not feeling well, I'll check when I feel better. Thanks for watching!
Ya got my address. Go ahead and ship that Super Ludwig out! 😂
