As always she plays interesting roles. I thought her acting in "Hello My Twenties" was more impressive. But from a guy's perspective she looked especially attractive in this series.

What I'm amazed at is that Ji woon not even once in the drama questioned himself about liking a man. Of course he was surprised by himself in the starting ep's but he never really treated his feelings as misunderstanding or neglected them. Even when he confessed his love for the crown prince he said that it's not just affection, it's love. From what I see, he not only respected his own feelings but also respected his lover. Questioning love for someone not only means doubting your feeling but also questioning the person you love. This is the difference between this drama and other dramas of the same theme.

진짜 전 헤어나오는데 정말 오래걸렸습니다. 저는 성격 상 원래 드라마 마지막편은 안보는데도 불구하고 유일하게 연모는 마지막화까지 보았습니다.(사실 그것도 쇼츠에서 우연치 않게 엔딩을 보게 되서 본거지만..) 저에게 있어서는 가장 아련하고 후유증이 심하게 남는 드라마였습니다. 제가 이런 가슴 아픈 로맨스 드라마를 싫어하는 이유가 있습니다. 한번 정을 주면 빠져나오기까지 꽤 아프기 때문이죠😢
But really female lead character is really strong in this story, she can stand and fight for herself in need. She didn't need male lead to protect her or hide behind his back. Strongest female lead ever seen. Fighting 🙂🙂.

As we know, historical kdrama must have the great sentimental memorable song. That's why we can say most of the historical drama are soo daring and beautiful healing kdrama. . . . You can really see the improvement in Rowoon's acting through this drama. If I didn't know he was an idol, I'd think he was made for being an actor. This by far is my favorite pairing for him. Their chemistry is subtle but sizzling.
I agree. I have seen other drama but he is going for broke in his performance which means he aims to do an outstanding job which he has and loved him for putting himself out there to be his "best." I love the coupling with Parker so the two together are "outstanding." Not since this drama has I've seen such incredible performances and I hope that American Films producers and directors start to take notice of the talents the Korean Series have that Americans don't put as much out there in terms o emotional display - I personally love to see the humanity in men which are often overlooked in American films. So two thumbs up for being so positive in promoting feelings which is essential for a good show to deliver the best by actors' performances. I am an old American movie fan but you got me hooked on your Kdrama and love how your culture suggests the love which comes from the heart more than just physical. My hats off to the Korean producers and directors of all their series - good job guys!
Yes you have summed it up. This is why I can’t watch American movies anymore. They are too graphic physically and these Kdramas are romantic, witty and serious.

This is the most beautiful Historical Korean Drama I watch. Actors is so Stunning... I recognize the singer when I just hear it's LYN so beautiful, I can feel the emotion. She is really one of the Best OST Singer I've known.
Knowing that this KDrama will end soon breaks my heart. I feel like I'm part of the story and I so love all the characters. And this song adds up the historical feels of the story.

The movie is so good, it should receive a lot more attention. The music, scenes, scripts are all so good. Definitely my fav. So many beautiful scenes. Many touching stories. My life is less boring thanks to the movie

so i finished watching this drama last month and am currently watching another two historical dramas, (coz its my fav drama genre hahah). Watching The King's Affection definitely made me enjoy other historical dramas less 🥲 idk man honestly i feel like this drama have set the bar high for historical dramas... from the storyline, to the plot, to the excellent acting skills, makeup and script lines, the cinematography, and also the OSTs....they pulled a Mulan REALLY WELL and although cross dressing genre is common within kdramas, the cross dressing in this drama is on another level, the actress (park eunbin❤️✨) potrayed both her male and female characters really really well✨
I have heard Lyn sing these "all so romantic OSTs" since many years ago for those epic dramas. Haven't heard a new one for some time. So when her voice comes on during the ending of every episode, she is like some Love Fairy, with her magical voice, she summons the winds of romance like a mighty gust into the drama!!! Ha Ha. Her voice has that magical quality and it is hard to explain.
Everytime they played this OST as background of heartbreaking scenes, I'm like "PLEASE STOPPPP!!" Their acting are enough to make me cry and Lyn's voice and the meaning of this song made it more painful 😭. " 🎶I know, there is one thing that is not allowed for me. 왜 이렇게 연기들을 잘하셔ㅠㅜ 솔직히 약간 유치한 판타지 사극이라 예상했었는데 누가 연기하는지 어떤 음악 깔리는지에 따라 달라지구나ㅠㅜ
연예인들 많고 예쁜 배우들 넘 많고... 박은빈 예쁘다고 생각못했었는데
하... 나라도 반하겠다고 보면서 몇번이고 읊조렸당ㅠㅜ 이거 보느라 눈 퉁퉁 부음ㅠㅜ

You can really see the improvement in Rowoon's acting through this drama. If I didn't know he was an idol, I'd think he was made for being an actor. This by far is my favorite pairing for him. Their chemistry is subtle but sizzling.

I agree. I have seen other drama but he is going for broke in his performance which means he aims to do an outstanding job which he has and loved him for putting himself out there to be his "best." I love the coupling with Parker so the two together are "outstanding." Not since this drama has I've seen such incredible performances and I hope that American Films producers and directors start to take notice of the talents the Korean Series have that Americans don't put as much out there in terms o emotional display - I personally love to see the humanity in men which are often overlooked in American films. So two thumbs up for being so positive in promoting feelings which is essential for a good show to deliver the best by actors' performances. I am an old American movie fan but you got me hooked on your Kdrama and love how your culture suggests the love which comes from the heart more than just physical. My hats off to the Korean producers and directors of all their series - good job guys!
Yes you have summed it up. This is why I can’t watch American movies anymore. They are too graphic physically and these Kdramas are romantic, witty and serious.

so i finished watching this drama last month and am currently watching another two historical dramas, (coz its my fav drama genre hahah).
Watching The King's Affection definitely made me enjoy other historical dramas less 🥲 idk man honestly i feel like this drama have set the bar high for historical dramas... from the storyline, to the plot, to the excellent acting skills, makeup and script lines, the cinematography, and also the OSTs....they pulled a Mulan REALLY WELL and although cross dressing genre is common within kdramas, the cross dressing in this drama is on another level, the actress (park eunbin❤️✨) potrayed both her male and female characters really really well✨

I have heard Lyn sing these "all so romantic OSTs" since many years ago for those epic dramas. Haven't heard a new one for some time. So when her voice comes on during the ending of every episode, she is like some Love Fairy, with her magical voice, she summons the winds of romance like a mighty gust into the drama!!! Ha Ha. Her voice has that magical quality and it is hard to explain.
Everytime they played this OST as background of heartbreaking scenes, I'm like "PLEASE STOPPPP!!" Their acting are enough to make me cry and Lyn's voice and the meaning of this song made it more painful 😭. " 🎶I know, there is one thing that is not allowed for me.
