Nobody can analyze them reports like you can. You're a hidden gem in the DNA testing arena because you actually analyze the data by hand, whereas other companies do a one and done ✔️
WHAT IS YOUR WEBSITE TO PURCHASE THE TEST? IS IT NECESSARY TO HAVE BOTH TESTS, OR JUST THE ONE VERIFYING ONE HAS INDIGENOUS BLOOD. I AM CHEROKEE. THANK YOU.
Thank you for your interest in our ancestry DNA testing products. We offer both SNP and STR DNA tests for ancestry. Having done a previous analysis is only required if you'd like to purchase our SNP analysis. Our tests can be purchased on our wesbite at native-dna.com/products
Very interesting! I’m Icelandic and took my first DNA test a few years back. When I started looking through my matches I was finding all these people of east coast colonial American heritage to which I have no known connection. When I looked closer into it my matches were all of Algonquin and/or Melungeun ancestry. Looking closer at my ethnicity makeup I usually get some Finnish, small Mesoamerican and Andean, South-Asian, Altai and Central Asian…. on top of my expected British/Irish and Scandinavian admixture typical of Iceland. Based on looking at the segment sizes that I share with my NA matches the connection seems to be from the late 1700s and on both my maternal and paternal lines but I’ve yet to find them in any records. But, interesting that you are mentioning all the same populations that I’ve been scratching my head over… that seem to be related to those shared segments.
Sooner than later, I hope you will be able to set up Genealogy Projects similar to Family Tree DNA in order to find and validate relatives. Especially relatives in modern-day Indigenous American tribes. Apparently, some Tribes are "ok" with dna results in order for someone to find "enrolled" relatives.
I'm Johnny, My DNA with Heritage came back as; 43.7% Mesoamerican and Andean, 24.8% Native, 19.7% Inuit, 10.1% Indigenous Amazonian, 1.7% Japanese and Korean. That's it, nothing else.
I did mine with 23and me, it does show pacific north west, CA and Oregon, 31.1 percent, but I am Klamath and Choctaw and I have membership with the Klamath tribe's in chiloquin Oregon. Of course I am mixed with Irish and English.
Hi, I just paid for the SNP Raw Data DNA Analysis - do you send me swabs for my test or do I upload my genome to your site and if so how do I do that ?
My grfather was Mohegan, his father came out of the Mohegan tribe here in Connecticut... But i was tested with the 2 testing groups and i show Zero native American... i was told that the Mohegan tribe in my state did not submit their DNA for comparison as they wanted to limit the tribal members due to the casino, Mohegan Sun. They showed DNA from England and northern Europe
Hi! I have paper trail to 4 micmac and 1 Algonquin on my moms side. My dad has 1 cherokee and possibly 1 more. My DNA came back as south Asian 2% from ancestry, FTDNA and myheritage. They all dropped it and put something like Baltic on. In 10 generations I don’t have Baltic or south Asian or Roma. Just Native. Myheritage recently put back south Asian. On gedmatch, they have siberian Asian groups, Beringia, or native in small percentages but could noise. Sigh
I have 🍁 Canada indian east asian thailand 🇹🇭 cambodia sweden 🇸🇪 6 % native american 🇺🇸 Iberian what does that look like from your standpoint and what tribe ??

1/16=6.25% I’m half Puerto Rican and I’m 10% Indigenous Puerto Rico so basically I’m 1/10th Native.
