Wow... beautiful mixing, I’m impressed tremendously. Very nice ridom, the mixes beautifully mixed like a dream. Wow thank you very much for charing this video. You really got talent. Congrats straight up. 👍🏻
Damn kid! Now that's how you mix & blend the old with some of the new!!! You definitely dug deep into crates on that session! You obviously have a deep understanding & knowledge of old school hits unlike a lot of these young dudes only wanting to do dub step bullshit. Keep that real hip hop flowin kid!
I remember DJing on some mixed-matched turntables with a Radio Shack mixer back in the day!!! But, Yo..., this was some tuff-a$$ mixing!!! I like that "99 Luft Balloons" at 2:27!!!
Hey man, where do you get all your acapellas? Also, not to sound lame but I just pulled my 1200s out of storage after 10 years. A lot has changed since I last played with them. I just bought Serato and I am learning how to use it but I cannot figure out how to cue stuff up as quickly as you do. Can you point me in the right direction to a good tutorial or if you got a moment could you tell me how.
been out the game for 15yrs doing photography, bout to stack up for some equipment, right now im getting music together and going to start practicing again, any tips wud help anyway i can contact u, your ish is tight. one thing forgot the artist who made It's Time and can you suggest and place to get some good music...sorry bout the novel
hey Billy, not sure what i clicked to get here.... im not a fan of any of that music, but i watched it...and then went and got my kids to watch, that shit looks more complicated then playing drums vs. Lars Ulrich !!!! great vid !!!
Yo!!!! Please read!! i'm new to the dj/Turntablist scene! I'm having trouble mixing acapella over instrumentals i'm able to get it on point after a couple tries but i can't drop it straight one beat. I know typical answer practice, practice, practice. But do you have any tips on how to drop acapella in sync with the beat?
I'm telling the truth as it is. I'm not disliking dub step but it's kind of like DJ's back in the day who would get fixated on the same scratch & do it over & over again. But when young DJ's get their setup now, the first thing they want to mix is dub step. I just feel its way over used & refreshing to see someone mix real hip hop. Personally I don't see how you can be a mixing & or scratching DJ & dislike hip hop.Hip hop started it. Saying you dislike it just means you don't know your history
What are you using to generate your Echo Out effect? The Serato Software? I can't figure out how to keep the echo out going with the Channel fadder off like how you do.
