Like so many things in life, if we cannot measure them, we can't tell if what we did helped the situation or not. And if we measure the wrong things or use an incomplete set of criteria, we may cause more harm than good. Since we don't as yet have agreement on what we are measuring (hint: it's not just carbon), this is a long-term project for Mr Dimbleby and those that get involved. He will need much fortitude.

Is it a call for bright economic minds to come up with an idea how to value nature properly.

We are facing a severe problem of poor policy. CAFO cattle, Chooks, Swine and vast fish farms are causing mass disease states in creatures all for the pockets of Corporate Greed. Choose and refuse all CAFO Inc products and the sick toxic industry will fold. Buying power is everything , compliance is certain Doom

This man is now going to put huge tax on products in the UK after the UK Government called him a diet tsar. This will effect the very poor who are even poorer in the last year. 87pence on a box of cereal but you can get vegetables and cooking lessons prescribed by your doctor apparently. Oh my dear God!
