I think Marina's english is good for a non-native-speaker. I can understand her english perfectly every word she says. But for people (including me) who want to learn english deeper and more detail...I'm gonna choose expert english native speaker teachers. I learned english at wallstreet 10 years ago...my teacher an american native speaker explained grammar wrong. So even an english native speaker can explain english grammatically wrong if she/he doesn't study the grammar. As to pronunciation...I trust native speakers 😊

Thank you guys! You cannot imagine how much your video is appreciated. I am Russian as well as Marina, it is very important and helpful when a native American can point out and correct your mispronunciation. My struggle has always been a short and long vowel sound, even after few years living in the states I cannot always hear it and pronounce it correctly. I always thought Marina’s English was very good, but now that you corrected it, it is also easy for me to see my own mistakes, and it is also incredibly helpful to know how we sound for an American ear, ‘cause we do not always notice our own mistakes. Thank you again!!!

@@YoelMonsalve well, I might argue with that. Yes, Russian alphabet is different from the English one, but it doesn’t mean that Russians cannot speak English correctly just because of Marina mispronouncing words. It is true though that English is taught really poorly in Russian schools and the only way to actually master the language is to attend classes which are not included in the curriculum.

She is an English learner, so it’s understandable if she makes mistakes and she learned a lot! The problem is there're not many real english teachers on TH-cam that's why we have to learn Tony Robbins version of English with Marina.

Why doesn't she learn herself to pronounce those 10 words from him before she records a video? Пф, и так сойдёт...

Wonderful video. I think one of the most crucial things that any learner should do is checking everything what they get from other people. If you don't want to be mistaken about your pronunciation, in this case you go to pronunciation or dictionary websites where you can see either a correct version of American or British pronunciation. This rule relates to everything.

As a learner I felt confused at the beginning, it looked like there was a conflict against Linguamarina, but then I realized that due USA has lots of immigrants from everywhere, each of them have a different and own way to pronounce the words.
There's maybe a correct way for sure, on the other hand, are the ones who learned from others who maybe mispronounce some words. Finally, I learned as much from Linguamarina as English for Everyone and many other sources

as a non-native english speaker and as a native ukrainian and russian speaker (yea both) i'd say that it sucks that she makes those mistakes and teaches people the wrong way, but the whole point is that u have NO IDEA how many mistakes regular teachers in school make. just like someone has already said below in the comments: her mistakes are nothing compared to what we face in school.

She's pronouncing everything correctly, slight accent due to multilingual skills but most of this video is an American saying British English is wrong.
