But also, Mama makes it worse for herself because she doesn’t even try to be understanding she’s too hurt and that’s what sucks about the older generation and our culture of therapy not being normalized. Moe has said before Mama struggles with depression its never going to just go away but if she was more open minded to resources available maybe she could have a happier life. My mom used to be rude AF like mamas and would curse me out any chance she would get. One day I just exploded and went off on her and told her never to use that type of language toward me. She never did it again. Someone needs to stand up to Mamas because she'll never learn that it's not okay to speak to adults that way.
My dad used to beat our a$$ and my little sister is 22 now last year my dad threatened to hit her and she stood up to him and he left her alone ever since and doesn’t even threaten

Til finally she learned to forgive him after years. & it’s crazy cause right as soon as she did, she found the man she’s with now and she’s so so happy. She’s literally thriving. & I really hope the same for Mama. May she heal, forgive and find true happiness and love. My grandfather did the same and had children w/ a mistress. My grandfather was murdered and is no longer w/ us. In my own little world I find comfort seeing your dad talk and cry. In a way I want to believe if I had more time w/ my grandpa he would talk to us the way your dad did and cry the way your dad did. No man is perfect.
