Great now the same event is jumbing every time in my calendar I cannot review the past and i cannot plan for the future and maybe i need to check a box to see it again Not so productive
I agree. The automation sounds great in theory but is a deal breaker in practice since it's not possible to time track your habits over time. The workflow definitely has a nice "Awe" factor I'm just not sure what a good real world use case for this is.
@@the_guerilla Thanks! I value Notion so much and it made me change my perspective about a perfect workflow, which is to be dependent on one thing as much as possible. I did something very unusual to replicate the same recurring tasks functionality in my workspace because I was very tired from using other different apps (I'm not comfortable revealing how as you may laugh at me) but it is so much better than this limited automation. However I wonder how a ten-billion-dollar company can't provide an easy feature found in every todo app? maybe a new acquisition is needed
Thomas franks original video fixes some of this. Gives a historical record of the tasks completed in the past. Been using it for a couple of weeks and I really like it. Brilliant idea but need a paid subscription. As far as the issue with the future, not sure.
How can i skip Weekends ?

I hear ya
I got 3 mins in & stopped. Every other platform has recurring tasks. This is yet another formula workaround. How long has notion been around now? Geez
fair comment
You are late to the party on this one.
totally fair
Really ugly solution, which is no solution at all. To use the recurring template feature is still a better solution for that.
