A lot of firefighters are paramedics. Where i work all firefighters have to be at least a EMT. On my truck we have two EMTs and two paramedics. A separate ambulance will show up and transport because there is no where to put a patient on a fire truck.

A lot of firefighters are paramedics. Where i work all firefighters have to be at least a EMT. On my truck we have two EMTs and two paramedics. A separate ambulance will show up and transport because there is no where to put a patient on a fire truck.
If you want them to get fast : call the Fire Department, they are the first to arrive. Same here in Chile.
