Christmas 2023 is around the corner. Here are some best places to see Christmas lights and projections in Melbourne.
Christmas River Show at Southbank near Evan Walker Bridge runs every 15 minutes each night from 9 to 11 pm until 25th December. The show features water fountains, lasers, light projects, and a festive soundtrack.
There are lights and displays around the South Bank along the river. The Christmas star on Evan Walker Bridge.
Fed Square is transformed into a Christmas wonderland, with an 18-meter tall Christmas tree, glittering lights, roving performers, Christmas choirs, plus other free festive activities. The Christmas Square will be open every day until Christmas Day.
The city’s famous Christmas projections are at Melbourne Town Hall with six gorgeous colourful treatments lighting up the building's iconic facade. The popular nutcracker soldiers standing guard across the city.
The dazzling display lighting up the State Library Victoria’s iconic facade features a range of colorful themes, celebrating everything we love about the holiday season in Australia.
It’s pretty pleasant wandering at night with twinkling lights in trees and laneways across the city.
Beautiful fountain with light, color and music. Great the Christmas is in summer in Australia, here in Larino we are awaiting the snow. Merry Christmas 2023.
Merry Christmas to you & your family too 🎄🎄
It would be great to have xmas markets for the entire month the way they do in Europe. Always thought Melbournes lights are poor in comparison.
That's a great ideas. Sydney has a small Xmas market in the Town Hall, but it's more like some food & drink stalls.
Here in Australia, nobody loves Christmas lights more than a druggie! You can always pick their houses lol. Never as nice as this though :(
