I love the song regardless, i would rather prefer hearing it always on the radio than hearing those repeated soulless, meaningless and +18 overused rap/trap/pop songs.
that ending on Rock Band 1 is so much better than Guitar Hero Metallica in my opinion, and I like how this ending sounds exactly like the live concerts since 1980's live at Moscow or something.
@@paulsd9255 the Fortnite Frestival version sounds like a single version to me. I prefer Rock Band 1 ending because it was supposed to be sound like an Album version.
As well as Wanted Dead or Alive, Livin' on a Prayer and You Give Love a Bad Name (previously from Rock Band, Rock Band 2 and Lego Rock Band, respectively; all by Bon Jovi), yo
I don't feel the song is bad at all or anything, I can agree that it is ridiculously overplayed on radio and those old music TV shows. After enough listens to it I'm already waiting to play the next song
Yep, Guitar Hero: Metallica sure does have both this incredible song from that album and the one that Rock Band 2 has (Battery from the 1986 "Master of Puppets" studio album), bro
I wonder how in RB1 a lot of easy songs get called "challenging" songs. Anyways, later on RB2 we got Battery on the same tier that Enter Sandman is on RB1, but Battery is WAY HARDER than Enter Sandman by a lot.
@staringcorgi6475 I doubt GH3 had any influence on the development of Rock Band 1 since the two games came out less than a month apart. Guitar Hero 1 and 2 would have had a greater influence (especially considering that Rock Band 1 was developed by the exact same team that made GH1 and 2). Either way, Rock Band 1 was designed to be more "about the music" than just playing the hardest songs possible. I think the songs' difficulties are all relative to the rest of Rock Band 1's setlist, which is generally one of the easiest out of any Guitar Hero or Rock Band game.
I’m currently doing the medium campaign, and I’m stuck on this very song. Don’t judge me, it’s been a while since I last completed the medium campaign (I’m not a hardcore Rock Band player) and every time I attempt Enter Sandman, my fingers start hurting. A lot.
This song is actually playable in Rock Band 3 online even on retail. All you need is the RB1 export with the license, then grab the con files for the 3 exportables and then they will work online without a RGH or JTAG!
Still Metallica's worst song IMO. Compared to the rest of their discography, its the most bland and uninteresting song in their library. Ride the Lightning is still in my top 5 albums of all time
As a Metallica fan, as good as this song is, it's ridiculously overplayed on the radio
Jordan Blackhurst what station do you listen to? 😂
They play it way too much on SiriusXM

Two years on and it's still better than the cut-off ending in Fortnite Festival too.

This song can only mean one or two things. Yankees closing pitcher Mariano Rivera or the Sandman from ECW.
I love this song
My dad love this song and the band and everytime whenever he's listens to rock music he always listens to song
This needs to be DLC for Rock Band 4
Same with Seek and Destroy, Battery and Drain You by Nirvana.

Forgot to point out. Enter Sandman is not exportable at all for Rock Band like Battery didn’t. Rock Band 1 is the only way to play it normally.
Battery didn’t export either and funny enough if you have the con for Sandman it will play just fine on RB3 and Blitz
@@damndeeznotes That's what I meant.
I think it was meant to be exportable but metallica signed with activision so Harmonix had no choice

Maybe because when RB1 came out, the genre was new and there was no basis for comparison.

The black album !!!
Defenitely over rated song. I enjoy creeping death & welcome home quite a bit. Playing battery & whiplash in the games is really fun
Virginia Tech Football entrance theme
One of the weaker songs from the Black Album but still quite good

im not going to argue but its in your opinion, I will let that slip. But I really like the song
Overplayed ≠ Worst song ever
It's a million times better than anything on St. Anger.
