The election commission of India has made it mandatory to hold regular organisational elections and file income tax returns in order to make the internal democracy more strengthened. Over regulation of political parties using only legal solution cab be counterproductive as it would force the political parties to find ways to cheat the law. Besides they will also never pass a law that would force them to get reformed. The quality of democracy depends upon public participation: 1. People can put pressure on political parties to accept the reforms. They can use agitations, protests and marches. 2. Ordinary citizens together with media and pressure groups can play a very important role in making a good democracy by forcing political parties to get reformed. 3. If political parties would feel that they can lose the popular support if they don't accept the reforms then they would becomes more serious about the reforms. 4. Political parties can be reformed if those who want them to be reformed join these political parties. 5. It would be of no importance if ordinary citizens don't take part in it and just keep criticizing it from the outside. 6. Thus, political parties can be reformed with the help of more and better politics.
