NEVER NEVER APPLY POWDER ON A MONKEY'S BOTTOM!!! It dries, and when wet or damp it cakes. Get your vet to prescribe or tell you an ointment to apply. This is crazy bad.
Tutu has first signs of floating limb syndrome. When they develop this, monkeys will self harm. That baby has been traumatized!

There are always people that are ideologically opposed to keeping monkeys as pets )even when it is too late to turn back).
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but my opinion is that it isn't right to slander people because you don't agree with every one of their actions, especially from a possible cultural standpoint. Also her name is Yuyu.

bibi monkey had same video. yuyu is bored having you make her sit on potty when she already went this morning. poor monkeys trained like this and having to wear clothes ad diapers and treated like a human child. Not right. She needs to be free with other monkeys. She is healthy so why not free her to poop where she wants, mate, climb and play? No excuse. It's all about money otherwise you would free her.

You mean when she does that scrunching up her face with her hand over her eyes? She does that a lot.
Every animal/person has some sort of habit/tic especially if they are young. If this is it, 1 movement, this is grasping at straws. She also seems like an expressive girl who likes to move her face around!

Just having this monkey in their home is an act of abuse. They won't be keeping the monkey when she is an adult. They will drop her back in the forest like they all do. Without the ability to forage and feed herself

Yuyu is still getting over a bout of constipation here. I could be wrong but I assume she got either some medicine or food to help her poop. When a laxative is given, sometimes it is harder to keep the poop in/keep clean because it keeps happening. She is fine!
Such abuse they make that monkey sit on toilet till it poops. No telling how long he was on there. They just edit video to suit their needs. You can tell the monkey is restless having to sit there. This is abuse you can not domesticate a monkey fully
Oh my God are you kidding! The posture on the toilet (on a special smaller seat for her nonetheless) is beneficial because the squat posture opens the area needed to release the poop! Most animals squat even in nature!It looked like she needed to stay there (of her own volition) for a little longer because she had been constipated. Guess what, the posture worked! Let's level with each other-it would have also been a sin to have her poop in a diaper because it would touch her skin and that would be a whole other issue! It is because of the following reason-
I understand there are people who are ideologically opposed to having monkeys as pets. However she looks healthy and is active. There are many more monkeys out there and some that obviously need desperate help. There are efforts to stop human deforestation/encroachment on their territory so the ones who can still be in the wild safety won't get hurt by power lines and other human constructs. Maybe these efforts are also something to support.

See some get upset if there IS a diaper! I think that she usually wears one but she had been constipated and is trying to get over it. She probably ran to her carer to help clean her up and apply one. Kind of some nitpicking going on here. Also, it can be good to air out the area from any moisture or covering to protect skin!
