Ok as an Italian I have to settle this…PASTAS ARE NOT ALL THE SAME!! Yes they are generally made with the same ingredients, but the shapes and the sauces they’re paired with is what makes them different. For example, shells should be used in loose sauces that way you get a little cup of sauce in the shells with every bite. Angel hair should also be used in loose sauces. The Angel hair acts like a sponge and soaks up the sauce into the pasta, aka delicious 😊🍝
