I would love to see how you use the wire in your amigurmi , could you also recommend a shawl or snood pattern for a beginner . I can croquet but haven’t followed many patterns. Loved the video I have bought a couple of books that you recommend . Looking forward to seeing your kitchen finished. Thanks Ali hope your ok in this hot weather x

Thank you Susan! I would search on youtube or ravelry for beginner patterns - there are SO many great ones out there for free. One of the first cowls I crocheted was this one on Moogly Blog www.mooglyblog.com/moroccan-midnight-cowl/
I would also recommend the Attic24 blog for excellent tutorials of basic crochet stitches - when I was learning I used her "neat ripple" blanket tutorial but did it much narrower and longer and made a scarf! xx

Great video, loved seeing some of your amigurumi makes from the books that you were able to share with us. Saw a few books I don't own that I'd definitely love to have so they'll be going on my wishlist for sure 🙂. Oh and if you've not done the video yet (and you asked to be reminded) I'd really love to see the one on amigurumi armature please 😀. I love making amigurumi and have tried the odd thing to make them more stable but usually they are better for the smaller makes so I'd really love more info on how you do yours, as that amigurumi you showed us with the armature looked and moved amazingly. Thanks so much and I'll be sure to check out more of your videos later!

It is so fun seeing all the books again! I have a few Zoomigurumi, Mammoths and more, the seconds Monsters book, Amigurumi Treasures, Crocheted Sea Creatures by Vanessa Mooncie, and a few more. I love that mini kingdom book but know I would want to make them all and have a big display! That is why I usually make mine with sport weight or finer yarn - I can fit more FOs in my house. 😉 I usually get the ebook version of the books though.
