If we want to know what our gifts are, all we have to do is ask Him to show us. I think our gifts are married to our vision, our trials, our happiness, and our peace. In my opinion, it’s probably much harder to be happy if you’re operating outside of your gift. It’s time to be more specific in our prayers. It helps me.
It has NEVER resonated in me to work for someone else for a long time. I was literally not designed to conform to certain expectations. I've never liked things like being told that I SHOULD work from 9-5. I don't like those hours! Also, in Kentucky, you only get a 30-minute break and two 10-min breaks. WHAT IS THAT?? Employers only got my best at a job like that for about 3 years until I'd learned all I could and needed to move on. Eventually, I realized that God built me this way so that I WOULDN'T stay anywhere because His plan was for me to own my own private practice! That was NOT my plan, but He knew what would fulfill me and my purpose!
I definitely agree & beautifully stated. I believe that God is really trying to get our attention in regard to how we are using our gifts and who we are using, our gifts for in today’s society. If our gifts are truly not helping improve the quality of our life, family, and our community. Something is wrong and it is time to shift! Glad you trusted God in the shift! 🤎
I am truly blessed, inspired. So many of us has been influenced to stay on jobs that has been stressing us for years. Our ancestors has always wanted better for us. However, those gifts that God has given to us our enemy wants to stay hidden. I believe we all have purpose that takes faith, trust, and spending time with God, while allowing Him to guide us. Learning not to stand in the counsel of the ungodly. Sometimes church is not the answer if nothing is changing. We must take a leap of faith and stand on the promises of God alone.
