Awesome tutorial, it's so much easier this way. Thank you. To cover the gaps, I used Lightboxes on either side of the door and floating Old West Bar Counters above the door.
i really like the intro with the drill 🫶 i am thinking about a real similar video from vlad which kept me busy so i‘d like to share some of my final thoughts with you: if you change the doors to others than blueprinted the blueprint will probably not work as different doors opens in different angles and all adjustment is instantly gone 😔 furthermore you need ground & space for the foundations (no pre-existing structures or floating / swimming camp)… so the method is very limited in my opinion. my current workaround uses the free placeable wall blueprint… just added a door. so i can build doors almost everywhere. for double doors i can place one door, open and destroy it & place freehands the second one. even double doors with 2 different kind of doors is easy to do 😉🖖
I do cover some of that in my next video which will be out in a couple of days. I almost never build in pre existing locations, so I don't find it limiting, if you do then it's not a useful video for you. It is pretty impossible to make a video that will suit everyone lol
Most of the doors I use open the same way (about 70% not including static or hidden doors) and you can swap them out... If you want to use doors that open the opposite way, of which I think there are about 4 or 5, you could use this blueprint and reverse it and create a second blueprint... My method uses half as many foundations as Vlad's... So 😜
You're an awesome creator thank you for the great advice put it into my build the double doors, and we're going to see what I can come up with trying to figure out what I'm going to do with the area between the top of the door and the top of the wall but keep it coming awesome to see your stuff thank you very much
Hi Lucy Thanks for all your direction and help, I was wondering if it’s possible build a kitchen with upper cabinets and a sink inside my vault? And how. Thanks again
Upper cabinets should be easy because you can float things in a shelter. You can't put sinks in shelters, the entire water tab is missing, I don't know of a workaround for that lol
Just a couple of quick things. Although I’ve been playing 76 for about four years, I just came across your tutorials, and they’re fantastic! First point of order of course is, has anyone ever told you you sound exactly like Keira Knightley? Secondly, how do I get both of my doors to swing inward?? I have tried 12 different doors, and various iterations of this tutorial, but cannot seem to get it to work. What am I doing wrong? Please help.
I assume you are not British if you think I sound like Kiera, although we do speak with a received pronunciation accent lol doors have 2 snapping points so you can place the doors either way depending on which side you place the handle although some of them open inwards with the handle on the left and some the right. Most of the wooden doors open inwards with the handle on the left, so just turn the door the other way around.
Lol so weird, im currently building in the exact location ❤ Great spot but its always taken for me, currently doing a surfshop. (Needs to be at that location )
"Just fiddle with it until you are perfectly happy."
Words to live by. 😂
Yes I did realise there were multiple double entendres in there when I was editing... I don't script anything I just ramble away lol
@@LucyJanePlaysNothing wrong with a few accidental double entendres- they're the lifeblood of British humour!

I have recorded the video showing how to put a half wall above the doors today. It will be out in a few days. Both your ideas sound great though
Thank you! Easy to follow. I watched Vlad’s video went to blueprint but didn’t work found your video will save me time. ❤
It is much easier just putting the blueprint down lol
Keep up the great work as usual!

I did a video 3 days after this one showing how to fill that gap lol

Thank you, and curse you for giving me something new to obsess about perfecting my camp. 😂

About 60% of my videos have been done here over the last four years. I built my surf shack down on the sand
creative
Anyway I could get help with putting the pillars on the sides of the double doors
Are you asking me to come and do it for you?
