Having been married 50 years this month, I love how this movie, which I've seen many times shows some of the complexities, and well as the joys of love. I think it's a very valuable movie for individuals and couples to see together - of whatever age..
My husband and I are both 56 and we both watched the movie for the first time last night. What a great movie. They both are amazing actors. My husband said that if they don't a sequel, why don't they both do a cameo in some other romantic comedy where the main characters run into Rob Lowe in a park and address him as Danny. He then introduces his wife Debbie and their grandchild who are off camera until the introduction. The fans would see the gorgeous Demi Moore standing there. People would talk and ask why did Rob Lowe and Demi Moore do a cameo in a movie. Then people will figure out that they are showing the fans of About Last Night what happened to them 38 years later. Even if people have never seen About Last Night they would love the concept. What do you think of my husband's idea? I thought it would be amazing. It would show them still in love, married and that they had children.
Luv this movie cast music especially the ending. Iwish that it could have been that way with my ex wife. 19 years 6 children but not to be. But i guess thats life this moie always brings a tear or more. I love the emotion❤❤❤❤❤❤
Me and my best friend were having some beers watching TV then movie popped up !! The characters resonated with us because we were both going through girlfriend problems. He said I was a bad influence and was like Bernie but I think it was the other way around 😆. Now that he is no longer alive this movie has had more meaning 🫂
We had one theatre in the small town I lived in when this came out which meant the features played for at least 2 to 3 weeks. I went to see it 3 times...crazy but I loves me a corny romcom.
She was stunning back then in a plain sort of way. What I loved about her back then and until recently is she had that fresh girl next door look about her. That any have decent looking guy could have a chance with. It is hard to explain, but if you feel like you could date a girl like her then her characters become relatable and likeable. My wife has a certain amount of the Demi Moore look back then. Just a beautiful woman who you would love to bring home to mom and marry, but have certain sexiness about her.
@@Caitlynrex The whole scene is amazing!! Both of them are amazing in this film and it was a great ending as you can tell they would be married to this day if it was real. Danny learned a lesson and would not make the same mistake twice. Debbie clearly loved him from start to finish, but he was too dumb to realize it. Thank God, he got a second chance.
I graduated in 1986 and I just watched this movie. It is a great movie. Both of them were amazing in the film. Just watch both of their expressions and mannerisms in this final scene. Totally believable and Demi Moore just makes a guy melt with how beautiful she was back then. The perfect girl, beautiful and kind!

how do you find a movie like this to watch? I mean honestly i have no idea where I am supposed to view old movies anymore.... so if I find out about something from talking to people or there are clips on youTube with good reviews, it drives me crazy that i do not know how I can watch them!!!
I wish this movie had 15 minutes more so I could see this dinner. Wish I could know what happened. Did they patched things up? Or they just stayed friends? Did they got married and had kids? We'll never know.
The end credits sequence where he runs after her and eventually catches up with her basically hinted that they're giving their relationship another chance.

It is a great movie and the ending is perfect. How could anyone not tall in love with these two. Their acting is amazing in this movie. I personally think they would be together to this day.
