Let us tell ourselves the truth, if the general is alive today, and can speak for himself, the story may be different. Let us leave the past and try to make the future brighter for our country. Every citizen that has held any leadership position has a share in this blame for our rot as a nation, from the LGA to Dodan Barracks or Aso Rock. You may include the organized private sector if you wish.

Watching all mariam abacha.s recollection & narration of her younger days growing up in this same nigeria dat her husband ruled as head of state , i can see that she enjoyed a good nigeria for am in her era & also can relate to all she say despite the fact that we all grew up in different part of the country with the same enjoying nigeria that was also being rule by heads of state but i cannot hear or anybody coming out to give such a joyous narration or reflections during her husband's head of state tenor of office so can she reflect that her husband dealt treacherously with nigerians that some are without fathers today e.g Ken Sarowiwa to mention a few . So Mariam Abacha count it a privilege dat u are given to be interviewed on NTA which u neither deserved for this station is owned by nigeria . pls learn from history & let your conscience be pricked for your husband's deed.

Mrs. Mariam Abacha is a calm spirited mother indeed. To me she's a mother to reckon with, one can read the high respect and charismatic nature with which she is clothed. I'll wish our modern girls can learn from mothers like Mariam Abacha! May Allah continue to bless u!

The interviewer was anticipating kudi (money) to drop from the billions the family looted from the people of Nigerian that he chosed not to ask relevant questions of the interviewee. That's the way things work in Nigeria. And the fact is this woman and her family should be ashamed to show their faces in public. But the have no shame. There are many like them; the Olabode George and others that looted Nigeria and continue to impoverish her nation and people.

Why not ask the former first lady some real questions that could have change the wrong perception of people towards the family... she could have led more facts, and possibly some clarification would have been made out..

These people migrated to Borno, Chad area over a thousand years ago, the shuwa Arabs are basically arabized Fulani people....so the shuwa Arabs are Nigerians as anyone, after they settled in that part of the world now called Nigeria over a thousand years.... How many Nigerian tribes can lay claim to Nigeria for over a thousand years.... I thought the Igbo say they are Jews from Israel? And if it's true Igbo are Jews, and the Fulani are Arabs, then those two tribes are actually cousins....They been fighting for thousands of years in Israel and they brought their fight to Africa, and now Nigeria....don't you see how light skin both Igbo and Fulani looks?

Please wake up from stupidity and foolishness. These are the people who ruined the lives of some families. President of Russia, president of North Korea’s even the South Korea, President of France and their citizens Chinese President and his citizens Philippine peoples and Japanese and many more are all proud of their language. Nigerians are swimming in poverty and disease yet they are busy praising those speaking Language. They preferred to be hungry provided they can speak English. What about Germany, they dominated latest technology not Engaging perhaps forcing themselves to be speaking another Language. Who is listening to all these Hullaballoo like Al Mustapha . These woman said , No Matter How Nigerians attack’s his son, He will never be poor again. What a comment, After embezzlement. Please rethink. She can never come out trying to be clean and displaying Northern deception as usual.
