FLUTIE was QB1 on my favorite team from 1992-95. Won 1 GREY CUP in those 3 years with the STAMPEDERS. GARCIA took over for him & we never looked back. Then we eventually got BURRIS to replace GARCIA. Then Bo Levi Mitchell replaced BURRIS. We had great QB's since the QB before FLUTIE, as DANNY BARRETT (UCF Running Back coach) was QB1 for the STAMPEDERS before FLUTIE was traded for and he lost his job. FLUTIE was always marching his troops up the field every series over and over and over. 6000+ yards every season no matter what. Incredible performances. But only 1 GREY CUP is how we remember that. That STAMPEDERS TEAM from 1992-98 would've beaten any NFL team in 11 man or 12 man football given equal rights to prepare for such a game.
I was at this game and in over 75 games that I have attended in that stadium, I have never seen it go crazier then when Doug Flutie bootlegged for the game winning TD.
Eric Moulds, Andre Reed, and Quinn Early: That’s a good group of receivers. Kevin Williams was on the squad that season too, but he never lived up to the hype.
He should be in the Hall of Fame, considering when commentators describe a remarkable quarterback scramble to make something out of nothing as 'Flutie-like'.
A lot of the key players from the Super Bowl runs were still there, so Flutie was like a second chance after losing Kelly… one final gasp. Sucks it had to end the way it did.
STILL WEAR HIS JERSEY!! LOVE THIS GUY! HE WOULD HAVE WON OUR SUPER BOWL IF WADE PHILIPS DIDNT PLAY ROB LOSER JOHNSON!!! HORRIBLE CALL!!! LOVE YOU FLUTIE!!!!🔥♥️🔥♥️🔥♥️🔥♥️🦬🔥🦬🔥🦬🔥🦬🔥 GO BILLS!!!
Who knows if they would have made it to Super Bowl with Flutie, but he deserved to be the starter. The Bills owner Ralph Wilson was to blame. He ordered the coach to start Rob Johnson in that Music City miracle playoff game. We'll never know what could have been. I gave up on Bills after that.
Rob Johnson was clearly the better choice. Many true Bills fans and players were not happy with this. He was never the guy that was going to win the big game. Rob Johnson had the Titans game won diving for the end zone with a broken hand and the special teams lack of discipline gave it away.
Flutie definitely came along and was great for the Bills. Loved watching Doug. He made football fun.
Flutie was way ahead of his time. He would be a star in today's NFL.
Nah everyone is a giant now, if you thought he couldn’t see over the line then, imagine now
@@BufCity716 He's the same size as Kyler Murray.
@@SmashPhysical kyler is 50x faster
@@BufCity716 Flutie was faster than you think, and is certainly smarter than Murray.
I miss the days of watching these guys breaking down the football games. Also these Bills.
Good times.

I was there too...my buddy lost his wallet on the last play 😂
Doesn't make him a good QB though it was a fun game.
@@robertk.vanwie3372your the only person ever to claim he wasnt a good qb. What a joke lol
Except for every other doubter proved wrong throughout his career lol
Doug flutie pulling off magic. Best 5'10 nfl qb
5:30 "Everybody knew it was a naked bootleg" Everybody except the Bills entire offense apparently.
my first ever game I went to. I remember the deafening roar of the crowd when Flutie ran it in. Still the loudest I've ever heard a stadium
Eric Moulds, Andre Reed, and Quinn Early: That’s a good group of receivers. Kevin Williams was on the squad that season too, but he never lived up to the hype.
I miss old football😔

FLUTIE LITTLE BIG MAN A WINNER THAT'S ALL!!!
Lol winner? What did he ever win in the NFL? Nothing
He was 37 and 28 lol

Weird seeing Flutie practicing the drop kick pregame , and years later he would be the last to attempt and successfully execute the play.
Miss those uniforms, miss that red endzone
"...I've lost my voice for the first time of the year."
Worst thing to happen to Buffalo. Johnson should have been playing

The Bills were so stupid to pull him against Tennessee in favour of Rob Johnson. I hate the Bills.

Johnson sucked Doug was awesome
He was a selfish and bitter little man. If he would have supported Johnson and not divided the team, the Bills could have won the SB that year.
This is the best comment I've seen in YEARS regarding the Buffalo Bills thank you for stating the truth.
And he was 37-29 as a starter lol
Awesome
Johnson did what in the NFL?
😅
@tomrebstock9228 it wasn't Rob Johnson, that team was loaded and had the best defense in the league by far. Did you forget the Music City Miracle?
Bills fans are desperate they gave to see highlights of a game 20 years old!!! I guess they don’t have any Chiefs highlights to watch.
I think that I speak for all of those in the Bills Mafia when I say to you... !@%! @!! Galleste...
