Sharing a powerful story from a TB survivor in Karail, Dhaka - one of Bangladesh's largest slums with over 100,000 residents. Meet Nusrat, a resilient individual who battled TB and overcame the stigma associated with it. Their journey sheds light on the impact of TB on vulnerable communities and highlights the need for collective efforts to combat this disease. Through the support of Nari Maitree and Stop TB Partnership , Nusrat shares their story to raise awareness about TB control in Bangladesh. Together with support from NTP, Stop TB Partnership/UNOPS, USAID, and the Global Fund, Nari Maitree is dedicated to ending TB stigma and discrimination.
