    Glad to have you back! As a chronic Regal buyer and fan I will be sad if you have gone to another brand but will continue to watch for as long as you make videos! Your accessory recommendations are gold! Can’t wait to see what you got.

    You are a very thorough, careful boat owner. I wish I was like that -- I tend to fire up the engines, take off, roar around for a couple of hours, maybe anchor for a swim, and put the boat back on the mooring and go ashore. Not terribly careful but I have fun. I've looked at a couple of Regals -- the 38 SAV and 43 SAV. Both of them have places under the T-top that scrape my head, and the places are exactly where I would run through when docking.Other than that red flag , the boats were nicely done. And the 50 SAV is a beast. Thanks for an informative video.

      Hey John... Boat are great fun, but people tend to not enjoy things when they break down... and usually that occurs because they are not taken care of. Also I always look at boats as investments, if I take care of them, I usually get top dollar for them... and I love to purchase the boat that has been ridden hard and put away wet... because I put some $$ into it and when I sell them I turn a profit. I agree the SAV's are amazing boat and yes the 50 is a beast.. just took one for a demo a couple months ago....

      @@From100to26 also, how are you running the dehumidifier when you turn the house batteries off, when you leave the boat.? Do you have a battery operated dehumidifier?

      @@stimsingh9361 We don't turn the house batteries off. With the Siren Marine system it lets us know if we lose shore power....and even if we do there is very little feeding off the house batteries when we are not there.

    Hi. Thanks for all the tips and insights.
    I shave a few questions.
    Can you share the manufacture or supplier for the saloon table pedestal with different heights and if you added the pads too?
    Also, can you share the tv bracket articulation you installed at the saloon?
    We have a 38GC and we agree with you that we need to add the multi position pedestal at the saloon and the tv bracket.

    • @From100to26
      @From100to26  วันที่ผ่านมา

      For the table I think you mean the filler cushion.. it was just made by my dealer. They got the material from Regal and I just had them make the pattern to match the existing seats. The pedestal was just cut to size (so I have two different poles, one for when it is a table and one for when we used it as a seat.... For the TV's if you go back to the upgrade video in the Narrative I put links to all of the upgrades...including the TV mount

    Does the pro fender set up you hace scratch your boat at all? We have fixed fenders on our dock (just vertical dock mates with covers) but when the boat rocks it causes the gelcoat to scratch. We have a regal 28 express with a dark blue gel coat so any rubbing shows immediately. Love the channel!

    • @From100to26
      @From100to26  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey Robert! We have not had any issues with it scratching the gelcoat of the boat... we really love them. We had them on our 38XO and now we have them on the dock with our new boat.

    We have a 38XO we take on monthly 4 night trips and at least two 4 week trips a year. Do you have a source for the cushion that replaces the dinette table. Its available from Regal on the 42XO but not 38XO - so we are told.

      So our dealer (AMPM Marine) built it for us... your dealer can source the material from Regal (so it matches) and any shop could fabricate it for you. Rather easy!

      Well really there is not a lot to like. I think for us it was some of the options that Regal does not offer (like the filler cushion) for the boat. If you go through some of the videos especially the walk through and upgrades we identify some of the things we did not like about the boat. In my opinion, it is one of the best designed boats of the segment.

    I’m guessing that you’ve bought a bigger boat - maybe not the 100’ again, but watching you hunched over wrestling with the bedcovers said a lot. I have a bad back and I absolutely despised making up the v berth in our old SeaRay Sundancer 420. Never again! You invited me to email you last year to talk about why you sold your big boat and I still plan to reach out. I’m still looking at boats in the 80-85’ range 😂 but I plan to live on it with my husband for months at a time rather than just using it for quick trips here and there. I’ve had a 68’ and an 84’ in the past, and unfortunately on the smaller end it’s just too cramped for comfort over long periods. And yes, I will need to hire a captain, which is something I have very mixed feelings about. My ex and I handled the 84’ ourselves with no crew, but I was a lot younger back then lol. I’m in the latter part of my 50s now and my husband is even older. Of course I’m still able to manage lines and a decent amount of the maintenance and cleaning chores, but I have my limitations now and don’t particularly want to work myself to the bone. But I digress…. What did you buy Roger??? Don’t leave us hanging!

    We are considering a Regal 36 or 38 XO for cruising 2-3 nights (2 person/couple) a couple times per month. Would you recommend Regal XO even though you're moving up in size? Currently own a Pursuit OS 355 which is fine but more suited for off shore fishing then overnight cruising.

    • @From100to26
      @From100to26  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      In my opinion, the 38XO is one of the best deigned boats of the segment...... if you are doing several overnights per month I would consider the 38XO over the 36XO.... in my opinion the 36XO is more of an overnighter....

    • @steelaway1
      @steelaway1 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for your feedback. I’m leaning toward the 38 XO for that reason. We moved up from a Pursuit DC 326 day boat to the 355 to try some overnights and really enjoyed that lifestyle!

      @@steelaway1 The Pursuit DC326 is a great boat, I think you will be very happy moving up to the 38XO. I think that if you got the 36, in about a year, you might be wanting more room. As I tell people, always get a boat a little more than you need as it will give you room to grow into it.

    Was beginning to wonder what happened to you guys, it's been a while. This upcoming season will be my first owning a boat at a marina and I didn't think you could add stuff to your slip like the ProFender and water filter. Is this commonly allowed?

    • @From100to26

      Typically yes, as things like the ProFender really only cause a few screw holes in the dock but check with your marina!
