See if you can spot the error I made in the intro... This is my first video since the accident. I'm having to reduce screen time to a limit of 20 minutes per session, so this took a lot longer that I would have liked to put together - and was no where near as detailed as I wanted. But the brain is healing, and I'll be catching up with all of this when I can. Thanks for the support everyone! 😊
Don't you mean the True Sons? Natalya Sokolova has the Black Tusk under her, as she's able to offer 5 black tusk candidates for McManus' Hunter program.
@@alexanderblack8852 True Sons too, I can imagine if Bardon wakes up from his coma and becomes vocal about McManus' plot there will be a divide between the BTSU ranks
@@Whispurer Lucky we get access to BTSU uniforms, then. Even some of their gear sets. But yeah, I can see why some BT operatives would have issues with what McManus is planning. At least, the American ones, anyways.
@@christiandavis8055 I certainly wouldn't, given how he uses Castillo's situation for propaganda. Granted, Capt. Lewis suggested it, but the decision to do so lies with Gen. Anderson. That, and we'll just have to keep an eye out and guns loaded (or a drone/turret, if you're a skill build).
It makes sense that Keener knew what was going on or knew something was up, it would explain why the hunters were willing to work with the other factions in resistance in going after him even though he fooled them all by already getting away.
It makes more sense why he built ANNA, at least. ISAC is clearly compromised now, since apparently Cal gave Hunters technological know-how to hijack SHD systems. ANNA would be a buffer system, to allow Keener and his Rogues some leeway to avoid being tracked and shutdown by Hunters that can override SHD tech.
I feel like they're Ghosts of the Division world but a nefarious version of them. Lone Wolves mopping loose ends up and employed by the Deep State to make way for a New World Order. Then, once everything is set up, they'll be discarded just like the Division Agents.
Here is what I think... I don't think Keener figured anything out... he just happened to witness something he should not have seen... a meeting or conversation... and I'm guessing its why Lau went rogue and Schaffer defected to the Division... I am convinced he somehow saw something during his time in NCY's Dark Zone... And I think it also adds my suspicions that the true enemy of the country is inside the Division, not Rogue or another hostile element.
The end of this Manhunt was such an eye opener for me. We all guessed Faye was working undercover. However when ISAC failed to say "Rogue Agent Deceased" many of us [me included] thought: Faye is not dead. We now know that is because Faye was not a Rogue. This has made the story so much more interesting.
Imagine, if the story gave our agent the option to participate said trail? And how would the devs would implement it in the game? That is a good question to thing about.
That’s a very bold but great idea I’d love that, more freedom to the players definitely and then we’d be taking down real life players who stayed division
I absolutely love how Yannick was forced to add this content. Div 2 was supposed to be over and done with but now the storyline has absolutely got me sucked in more than ever 👍
My guess is with how much resources massive has tied into shipping out Avatar (also a live service) and with the Star Wars project that will kick into full swing after that the logical decision was to restart content development instead of trying to push out division 3.
@@devinthierault at some point it becomes too hard to fix all that blended ketchup noodles so they gotta rework the engine from the ground up. Kind of like how Massive had to develop SnowDrop 2 for Div2.
Yesterday, I was doing the original Hunters hunt in the Division 2, and while doing the Ghoul mask one, the laptop you have to interact with is next to an Echo, I activated it just in case, I've done it originally god knows how long ago, but it took my by surprise that Jack Bonney was in there. I'm pretty sure this Echo was available when the game come out, so they had this character set up that far ahead? They probably didn't have the manhunt ideas fully fledged by then, but still, seeing the character was a weird whiplash I wasn't expecting.
There is an echo to the left of the White House that has most got the BTSU talking about Kelso....its looking like the Manhunts are setting up for taking the remaining leader's of all the factions
What’s also odd is that Jack’s character model in the manhunt mission is a normal black tusk infantrymen because in the ECHOs, his model is a black tusk engineer. So idk why that happened, maybe because the devs forgot or the manhunt is a little rushed. Or maybe because he had to switch to a new uniform for training in the hunter program and the boss before Jack being Private Conner is wearing Jack’s engineer outfit.
@@Darkdiablo665 at least the changes in the BTSU in terms of models like Elijah and Petrus were actually good tho, standing out and kinda like similar to Wyvern’s design in the Tidal Basin mission. But kinda underwhelming when giving treatment for Jack Bonney. But the important thing is that Jack Bonney is finally back, being obscured since year 1 and would be the closure to the BTSU.
This honestly explains why the hunters are so capable against our agents. Well I’m happy to be reclaiming the watches of our fallen brothers and sisters back.
I've been telling this since the ending of WONY. If Keener had his ANNA computer (the opposite of ISAC), then Division 3 should be a PvPvE game where you can choose to be either SHD or Rogue and if you take the second, then gradually become a Hunter. Excellent video as always.
The drones in this manhunt(along with the Recruiter huntre) are observing us, the protagonist. Perhaps the tactical data will be incorporated into training the hunters or even training them against us, we being the "prime specimen" of a successful Division agent against all threats so far. I think it's really a super soldier program. We've already seen how the Hunters are better both physically (pain tolerance? Strength, speed) and in equipment + battle ability. I suspect not only did Keener know about this, he may have even been a candidate for it that broke off. We stopped his Eclipse missile but we never really knew the final target.
Controversial but there's no denying it: Ive found too many similarities with the world & this universe.. a systematic collapsing. Whether intentional or not.
I just got back into the division 2 after a long break, I missed this game so much and your videos are so well done and really got me back up to speed on everything! We all really appreciate what you do, keep on keeping on!
What I think is gonna happen (in Div3) - Kelso gets killed by the Hunters of McManus (or by then) Natalia while confronting them. - McManus takes over The Division, making it "evil". - The Hunters become the "SHD Agents". - We (the actual SHD agents) get marked rogue, and we can't use I.S.A.C. anymore. - Bardon Scheaffer gets set free by McManus, because he thinks Scheaffer is still on his side. - (In the first mission) We get easily captured (because our skills dont work anymore) and taken to prison (Rikers Island) and interrogated. - Scheaffer sets us free and tells us to meet him there and there, if we survive. - When we are at the meeting point, we get surrounded by Rogue Agents. And this is where Keener steps forward and tells us the hows and why's (put the dots on the i's). - We now join the Rogue's and A.N.NA. becomes our new I.S.A.C. Network, and we can start fighting "The Division". - But because of McManus we have to start over making alliance's with other "Faction's" (earn their respect). And with that they open their resources for us. ▪︎ The Civilians - Supplies - Access to certain territories - Dog (companion) - Vanity Vendor ▪︎ The True Son's - Gear/Weapons - Access to their territories - Vanity Vendor ▪︎ The Rogue's - Skills - Skills vendor Buying bigger mags for turrets/drones No more infinite ammo for skills, etc. - Vanity vendor - 1 strap backpacks!!! - Tech/Survivor/Recovery links back!!! - 🔥Classified❤️🔥Reclaimer🔥 Anyways...😬 Now we have to save communities from the Hunters or "SHD Agents" that were ordered to put a strict Martial Law in all those safe havens (making the communities like prisons/work camps). After we have done that, we can take out the head of the snake(s). So we go into that last mission, and eventually get into that last room where McManus/Sokolova is/are, and.... A.N.N.A gets shut down, so that only the Hunters will have their Tech online. But little did they know that Faye Lau & Scheaffer had uploaded A.N.N.A into the Diamond Network. So... either we will still have our Tech online (or comes back online from within the Diamond Network). Or we both (Hunters & us) lose acces to our Tech, and the room becomes an old Wild Wild West shoot out for a moment. Anyways I can't wait for Div3!!
- Kelso gets killed by Natalia Sokolova/McManus while confronting them. --- there are more chances that Manny Ortega will betray The Division - McManus takes over The Division, making it "evil". --- impossible since the players need to have the support JTF so that they feel that we are the good ones - The Hunters become the "SHD Agents". --- hunters either hunt or infiltrate and it is likely that they are already infiltrated in The Division, but this infiltration happened long before the events of the first game since that was when the recruitments ended and therefore the agents were registered in the SHD network. but the point is that his mission is to hunt down rogue agents and active agents. - We (the actual SHD agents) get marked rogue, and we can't use I.S.A.C. anymore. --- the Rogue brand depends on ISAC so to end the current agents they need the button, which if I understand correctly, is something that was lost in the transfer of power from one president to another (Weller to Ellis) and would allow the SHD technology to be turned off of all agents, active and renegade, which would not only leave them defenseless by taking away their greatest advantage, but would also allow Natalia Sokolova's private army to become legitimate - Bardon Scheaffer gets set free by McManus, because he thinks Scheaffer is still on his side. --- there is a posbility that Scheaffer lied to Law and is still working with Miss Sokolova
- (In the first mission) We get easily captured (because our skills dont work anymore) and taken to prison (Rikers Island) and interrogated. --- New York will not be the center of the story again, in the first game it was only because it was ground zero where the virus was released and in the DLC because of its relationship with Keaner, but currently there is no SHD node in that city, which which would be vital if they implement "the button". - Scheaffer sets us free and tells us to meet him there and there, if we survive. --- Scheaffer might not be so loyal - When we are at the meeting point, we get surrounded by Rogue Agents. And this is where Scheaffer steps forward, to let us know he has taken over the Rogue "Agency". --- exchanging roles between active agents and Rogues would not make sense if what you want is to continue with the mission and taking into account that ANNA were devised by Keaner and Parnell with the aim of continuing to use SHD technology and that in the dark zone the change of one network to another is already possible, it would not add anything new to change us to Rogue agents
@@CamGutier86 Ok... I see you just full on hate on everything I said😂 More chances that Manny... --- Original... how did you come up with (NGN's) that idea? But alright that could also fit in the story, Manny sets Kelso up to die by McManus/Sokolova. Impossible --- Possible... The Hunters/"SHD agents" can still support the JTF and use them against us "Rogue agents" by just taking over and put in harsh martial laws etc. (We need to expose them for what they are and proof that we arent bad/rogue to gain the trust of the JTF again) Point is that his mission is to hunt down rogue and active agents --- They can still do that, only now (we) the active agents are marked rogue as well...and they as "SHD Agents" hunt Rogue's😉 The rogue brand depends on ISAC --- Doesn't matter, when we get marked rogue we get kicked out of ISAC's network. And we still need to gain acces into the rogue network. (Which is (by then) re-coded/uploaded by Scheaffer/Rhodes into the Hunter/Unknown Network) There is a possibility that he lied to Lau --- Ok Negative Nancy guess what... There is a possibility that he didn't lie😏 New York will not be the centre --- Ohh sorry Yannick...😑 Even if it is like that, it can still start there...and the meeting point somewhere else. Scheaffer might not be so loyal --- Or he might be... ANNA was devised by Keener and Pharnell with the aim... --- This is something Faye Lau was working on (with other Rogue agents/Scheaffer (and eventually/later Rhodes will help as well)) Upload A.N.N.A into the Hunter/Unknown Network. In case if McManus succeed we can still use A.N.N.A. to fight back (without McManus/"The Division" turning off our network (Unless they turn off their own Network as well) And since you like to be smart about it. The DZ doesn't make sense in the game (lore wise) Because the Dark Zone is a "Death Zone" meaning no communications from the outside. Meaning Drones/Turrets (other automated skills) shouldn't even work in there (Rogue or non Rogue). That is also the reason you can go Rogue in there without getting "fired" as a SHD Agent. Because the Drone/Turret Controller in the White House (Who is still helping the non Rogue agent) would see & record an Agent (us) going rogue. So why would we be welcomed back in the White House and not arrested/killed by The Division after going Rogue and kill a colleague in the DZ?🤔 (So if that's possible, other things like my points are possible too) Also, it's a game... not everything has to be perfectly realistic my guy... - Being an engineer (skill build) doesn't make the bullets in your guns less dangerous. - if you shoot 30 bullets into the head of a known criminal (named enemy) they will not keep walking around like nothing happend. - A fence with an advertising board in front of it isn't bullet proof either (DUA mission) Point being: Let's not go into the tiniest detail for a game...
And how he got that type information if he’s wasn’t lying when broadcasting it to the division? Keener perhaps, there’s no way Theo somehow knows this type of information unless it was from Keener. Faye Lau probably had discovered it too because it started with her curiosity of investigating Keener about what he saying or hiding has true intel or documents of what’s really going on. After her sister’s death, she has to know by playing double agent if what Keener was talking about was true or not.
That is what I keep saying... Keener unknowingly found out something during the days before he went Rogue in NYC. I know Keener never figured anything out... he just happened to bear witness to a conversation, a meeting, an ECHO or recording.... something which suddenly "enlightened" him. I truly believe the the Division is the main antagonist of the series... not the Agents per se, but the true director of the organization. After all, all government officials and rich people were evacuated from cities prior to Dark Zones even being put up...
I really enjoyed this season, lots of lore getting thrown out *&* at last, some info on the hunters. Though for me the best part has been That Faye was not a traitor & that I was right about Schaeffer. He really never seemed like a bad guy, always trying to do the best he could for the people under his command. Now if they can give Keener more of a purpose again, it never sat right they just turned him in to a generic bad guy after all that work they did showing him trying to save that apartment of civilians form the cleaners in the first game.
I don’t know if Keener was a generic bad guy. He knew that there was a chance that the Eclipse missile might not even launch but there was always the one thing he needed to ensure works. In this case, Eclipse makes for one hell of a distraction while he field tests ANNA. Satisfied that ANNA is going to perform above his expectations, he activates it for all Division agents regardless if they’re rogue or not to use because ISAC can be fooled. Faye has proven that ISAC is not reliable because the AI changed her status from agent to rogue and back to agent. Also consider this, Keener and the First Wave was screwed over by Ellis and while the JTF were targeted by Keener, I very much doubt that the JTF was the actual target especially since he betrayed Conly, Draguv, and Jakita for either being too fanatical, too tied into crime, or just completely insane. Theo also gets betrayed for being too cowardly and creating too many messes that he refuses to clean up. Now since the SHD is clearly compromised, the only way any of the Division is going to come out on top is if there’s a way to make the truth public. Just think of Keener’s final stand and what he calls you and Kelso. Basically he accuses the blindly loyal Division agents who were already betrayed by their own organization brainwashed idiots in which he’s right. So all in all, I don’t see Keener as a villain. I think he’s a borderline anti hero who was willing to cross the line and just took it too far.
You might get your wish. According to data miners on Reddit, one of the last man hunts for this arc is going to take place in the Pentco Nuclear Power Plant. Going to be interesting.
Maybe not all of the factions since most of them are radicals. Probably a joint operation, True Sons and SHD since most of the True Sons are former JTF officers.
@@TheTeletrap But did it really say for a Manhunt? Because it is known that Countdown is getting more difficulties. Meaning it could also just be a "Legendary mode" that has a different approach... Like: The Division VS Rogue's VS Hunters A Mexican Standoff kinda mode, where everyone is fighting eachother. 3 Rounds per game - Laboratory/CoolingTower/Containment - Administration/Reactor/Turbine Or just all 6 places but every time a different route through the map. Sorry that's my imagination going on a run again💪😅👌
We all know Keener's story from beginning to end and what's weird is that he doesn't mention in any recording that he was ever being stalked by a Hunter, I find this odd because the Rogue Agent that set up safe houses in the Dark Zone says "and someone's been picking off agents as if it's going out of style" in one of her recordings, meaning that the Hunters were definitely active during the events of Manhattan, but for some reason they didn't go after Keener despite the MASSIVE threat he posed, could it be possible that Keener and McManus were in some way working together? McManus's Hunters go after agents that pose too much of a threat so why didn't they go after Keener when he had his bio weapon? What if McManus had a secret collaboration with Keener that he kept hidden from Natalya? Why wouldn't the Hunters go after Keener? His location wasn't very secret since Schaeffer knew where he was hiding so why wouldn't the Hunter also chase after him? What if McManus plans to stab Natalya in the back and take power for himself? And not to mention Keener was most vulnerable at Coney Island where a Hunter could have easily intercepted Keener in the middle of his deal with Black Tusk, I might be grasping at straws here but it just seems illogical that McManus and his Hunters would let Keener just walk freely despite the threat he posed to everybody, but it's currently like 3am and I'm heavily sleep deprived so I'll end my little rant here
Keener had the entire Second Wave gunning for his ass. A hunter wouldnt have particularly stood out amongst all the other elite geared assholes shooting at him lol
The main weakness in the intelligence of the rogue agents is the information registry that they load in the clock and that in all the hunts that the division has concluded it has always managed to decrypt through ISAC, that includes the experimental improvements found in the clock of keaner or SHD devices that were an advantage for the rogue agents. however, despite the fact that the agents of the division have killed some hunters, it has not been possible to discover what makes them so lethal.
Love it, really excited for the future seasons. Almost makes me sad when Lau says Kelso is the best agent she's worked with; like hello MY Div 1 agent? Anyway keep up the great work.
Good vid, really enjoyed. I have problems with reconciling the Keener track and this track. It seemed like Keener wanted to do a reset, introduce more plague and kill way more people and set the world back to an earlier starting point. This track seems to want to build on what's already there but use it. Interesting to see which way the writers go with this. So I'm engaged and given how long this game has been around, that's no small thing. Well done guys. Thanks. Also, didn't realise you had an accident so hope you're getting better and will be back to your old self soonest.
I had such a strong gut feeling in the Schaeffer Manhunt when the Hunter showed up that something REALLY big was up. This story keeps getting better and better well done dude!
5:36 Faye: She's the best agent that I have ever met and I truly her with my life Division 1 me: so I guess the job we worked on as my handler meant nothing to you? Fine
Yeah that was complete and utter horseshit. Kelso? Really? Remind me again who took down Barret? Or Ferro? Bliss? Ridgeway? Shaw? The Entire Hyena Council? Who's been beating Black Tusk and has a WALL full of Hunter masks Was it too much that our Agent at least get a Fucking voice message to say goodbye?
Yes please do a crossover/web chart for the characters. This season got really confusing because they are referencing manhunt lieutenants from like 3 seasons ago. And what's worse is they keep alternating between birth names and callsigns.
My guess is that the hunters are supposed to be some kinda paramilitary unit within the black tusk. Like a secret police division, kinda like how the Nazis had the SS and imperial Japan had the kempetai
Dude I could listen to your stories for the 13hrs I gotta work. Never gets old man. This game got so much potential. They should move this story to Division 3 straight and have it all based on the hunters the virus and the problems and places we need to travel too to help out. And that thumbnail mask......they should listen to us sometimes and give us that one as well as listen to your stories and give u some serious credit.
Awesome video! I don't think Manny is suspect. Like you said he's the only other character left in the white house. He even casts shade on Kelso with his "Oh now you're talking to me?" line. He's been around but Kelso probably hasn't involved him in anything. Keep up the great work!
Great video as always already super excited for the next season/manhunt/whatever they plan to do haha plus can't wait for your next videos keep up the great work
I think we might be one of the hunter experiments (if they're super soldiers who somehow escaped) and we got let off the hook or off the grid and recently came into the spotlight as an agent which would explain why our character is always quiet and is forced to obey orders it could be possible that we also might e had our training manipulated to side with the SHD instead of sokolova which could also be a reason why we haven't got any options of going rogue or why our character seemed to have no free thought and was just following the orders of wipe out hyenas true sons outcast black tusk etc. The game never let's us choose to believe a factions idealogy and let us choose side which sort of confirms that thought and also makes me think that we might be approached by mcmanus or sokolova at the end of the final mission to choose a side because something might happen to us and we will finally be able to make decisions which could change the last few mission outcomes and maybe even the end of the game and the final mission could be varied to different outcomes depending on what ending you want to get which wouldn't mean you need a whole new game and would make it repayable and could also confirm that sticking with the division would be the canon ending because you'd probably be put back into the hub world as a division agent suggesting you confirming that the sticking with the division ending is what the story wants you to believe and siding with the hunters could be a sorta COD cold War evil ending (you kill your former allies for those who don't know cold wars ending) and would be something cool for those that want to go their own way or wanted to play as rogues in pve instead of being restricted to DZs this way both types of players would be happy unless there's people who want to join a faction
Thanks for putting this together, especially since you've been so limited in screen time. It must have been a challenge just to do anything. So THANK YOU! There really is some interesting stuff to dig into. As you say, why give us half the story? Why is Manny back in it again, although he is a permanent fixture in our comms for any activity in DC. I will be very interested as you dig into this deeper, but also for you to hopefully be able to start doing screen time for more than 20 minutes at a stretch!
Great work. Great LoreMaster. Hope you get back to 100% brother.. There alot of speculation at hand & I'm sure your racking your brain (no pun intended) on where this story is going too, we all are. Rest easy & heal up! You got a Story cooking & we're ready to eat!🤙. Take care Brother NGN✊
The Hunters are trained black ops kill squads, desensitized, trained to accomplish their tasks without regret, hesitation, or morals. That includes killing anyone in the way, including civilians. They’re worse than Rogue Agents. They’re specifically trained to hunt down and kill Division Agents, rogue or otherwise. The Hunters are like the Division but without the restrictive red tape of ISAAC, who can declare Div Agents as rogues on a whim. Except the mission of the Hunters is not to protect the public. Just to remove opposition that gets in the way of their leader. Their Technology is vastly superior to the Division, but created in a similar way. Even ISAAC cannot decrypt or find connections to the private network that the Hunters use. Hence the watch that revealed Agent Status: CLASSIFIED of recruit Jack Bonny that ISAAC could not decrypt. The Hunters are above ISAAC, who does not have access to their information.
now that you mention it with them bringing back and the whole conversation between Fay and Bar saying we dont know who we can trust beside kelso I get the feeling that Manny may secretly be with BT or Homeland with McManus.
Is it just me who wish we could get to choose if we wanna go rogue or division imagine having the game played ftom a rogue stand point. Aka everything on the map is hostile more of those "rogue agents" popping up it would be so cool to be one of the hunters
I was always suspicious hunter was going to be made a specialization, instead of a spec weapon, you get the hatchet that does a bunch of damage, either in general or when full charged. The skill will be a disrupt that takes over skill proxies. I'm sure.other could build on it more
Our boy retook New York, wasted the leadership for the three D.C factions, has been bullying Black Tusk, has a wall of Hunter masks, stopped Keener from unleashing the apocalypse 2.0 and friggin Kelso is the "Best Agent?" Man that is some bullshit.
I cannot wait for the next season and to get more info. I feel like the new game mode in the final season is going to involve the Hunters and whatever is going on.
Thx for the video, story makes every division 2 lovers so excited. I didnt know you had injury. I am recovering my spine surgery's with your videos. Wish you quick recovery. 🍻❤️
It feels like rogue agents at this point are the ones doing the actual job....while the division is running around in circles being fed small bits of info abt the real threat
Things are really starting to make sense now yet we're still hungry for more info lol I wished we've gotten more info about what actually happened to our div 1 character but maybe later on things would shape up, another great video mate
Thanks! Glad I was able to listen for a "cuts" file without re-doing all manhunt since it bugged out for me. Honestly I totally forgot what ever happened to Manny? Was there any troubles between him and Kelso? Or he was just left out of the picture since WONY came out?
TBH as you said in the end, NGN, I think the true purpose of the Hunters is just that: countering the SHD and ushering a new order. Keep in mind that due to the way Directive 51 worked in this universe, the Division is directly under Presidential command. He alone can activate them, and his orders have precedence over everything else for an Agent. Now keep in mind that the Department for Homelad Security, formed a few years after the penning of Directive 51, is technically responisble for, well, homeland security, incorporating military, law enforcement and intelligence agencies like the Custom Service, the CERA (FEMA's equivalent), the national emergency stockpile, nuclear incident response, Coast Guard, Secret Service etc. It's pretty obvious that the Secretary of Homeland Security would have been aware of the existence of The Division even before its activation for the Green Poison, and would have seen the existence of an independent stay-behind network of agents fully distinct from the Homeland Security as a sort of affront; because of that, he might have created the Hunter Program as some sort of "counter-Division" force, equipping them with similar gear (to which, being the DHS Secretary, obviously he'd have access to) and creating their own Hunter network. Now, the Secretary for Homeland Security is at the very bottom of the Continuity of Government list due to both the extreme importance of their role in directly coordinating all federal resources in case of emergency (which they could not do if they had also to act as Presidents), and the fact that this figure is the last one created (after the Speaker of the House, the Presidential line of succession's figure list follows the timeline in which the figure was established). It's not odd to think that after Waller's death, McManus wanted a crumb of power, so he arranged with Black Tusk to have Mendez killed, let Ellis be ousted as a traitor and killed as well, and take chance in the mass deaths that followed the Outbreak (that have undoubtely taken its toll onto the Continuity of Government list) to invoke 25th Amendment powers and show himself as the true saviour of the people; and thus, he'd use his Hunters as elite operators, due to them being basically the anti-Division, just as secretive but composed of a very restricted group of full-time operatives
What I find funny but like in a good way is how in both games your agent is like a ghost who does everything and dismantles literally every known faction but takes no credit. I could be wrong here but in my experience there's only a few comms in both games that mention your guy and it's loose
It was almost a blessing in disguise that covid shut everything down, making ubisoft either let the division 2 die, or revive the game, and expand the lore
NGN, I’ve been gone for almost 2 years and I’m gonna need a 5 hour video on all of the lore pronto 😅🤙 When did Faye betray us?! I loved that betch! I’m so confused 😭
I think we may have a new faction coming to the Division. Maybe I might be wrong but it will be nice to have a new faction more powerful, with new weapons and gear.
I should of known. Keener of seen this coming from a mile way and wanted to warn us. but played bad guy like lau to take the Fall so we could have A fighting Chance.
In the Division 1, Keener's storyline led us to believe he was always looking out for "us" the division agent. His apartment was literally in front of the entrance were we as a player begin our journey through NYC lower. He read the the Division's move, so he had to form his own contingencies (going Rogue and then implementing A.N.N.A) to counteract the real Rogue Agents, and he knew doing bad but necessary things is the only way anyone could stand a chance. (Fact that hunters in Underground and Survival showed us that they sent the super soldier hunters to hunt Division agents.) I'm with Keener and always have been.
Interesting info, makes me excited for Season 10 when we get the next part of the story. Especially with that recent discovery where "the Recruiter" has a name.
Once again awesome video, the game was prepating ua for COVID 19 situation in the world. The only thing was missing are DIVISION AGENTS and their motto: " SHOOT FIRST. ASK QUESTIONS LATER. "
Something back at DC smells a tad fishy... and Manny seeming like he's wrapped tighter than some cheap sushi... Least, that's what's ticking around in my head since that last cutscene...
I’m hoping Heartlands is super PvP oriented and grounded in rogue agents as such. That could bridge the SHD vs Rogue vs Hunter plot into us potentially being recruited by the hunter recruiter. McManis might feel we are loyal enough to join the elite hunter program in order to fight the rogues and Black Tusk. The recruiter has been watching us…
I still don't really understand why the BTSU hasn't just sent one of their big UAV drones over and rocketed the base of ops... One really does wonder what the Hunter's real objective is. Somebody on reddit made a mind-map of the characters - maybe check that out
If they rocketed the base, they will take out the Bio Reactor, the BSAV and the Russian doc. The things you need to cure Green Poison. Those are what Black Tusk needs to Cement themselves as the (in their minds) "Good Guys". Takes those away and they screwed the world over.
@@shdghost8872 I mean green poison is pretty much gone and there was a sizable stretch there where they could've done it before the bioreactor was there
@@d15p4tch6 Yet there are still Mutated versions of Green Poison out there. Like the one depicted in Heartland. The BSAV can cure that. McManus and Sokolova are the type who want to rule the world. BSAV is the key (along with the US Nuclear Stockpile).
I think that it was good that Faye didn't put all of the info in the encrypted files and left Schaeffer with some info. That way, if the BT gets their hands on the files, they still won't have everything they need to stop The Division.
I look forward to it. Haven't been that happy to take down a target since Keener and those two assholes have a lot of hurt coming for all the crap they've caused.
I'm interested in how one gets converted into a Hunter. Like if a loud mouth like Jack Bonny became a hunter, how on earth will they keep his mouth shut like they do all the other hunters? Is it like some sort of Winter Soldier type brainwashing program? I'm really excited to learn more.
Glad to see you're getting better thanks for putting in the effort for us
Oh ok
What happened bro? What accident?
Take care of yourself and get well soon man
@@Czer141 from Twitter he says he hit his head and got a brain injury
I love this, the Black Tusk and the SHD sortve having an *"enemy of my enemy is my friend"* situation
I wouldn't trust general Anderson he gonna jump ship to the black tusk . Captain Lewis seems like fair guy but I wouldn't get My hope up
@@christiandavis8055 I certainly wouldn't, given how he uses Castillo's situation for propaganda.
Also explains why he said "you have no idea what's coming".
What happened to the body though? I just finished the Manhunt with Faye. Has to be extremely convincing to pull off faking her death.
Its crazy to see how deep the story is getting. I hope they keep updating this game. I cant wait to see more
Imagine, if the story gave our agent the option to participate said trail? And how would the devs would implement it in the game? That is a good question to thing about.
Love this idea
imagine havin the smokescreen gadet the hunters have
That’s a very bold but great idea I’d love that, more freedom to the players definitely and then we’d be taking down real life players who stayed division
infiltrate the hunter program, create your own mask...
& a very SCARY one to decide😶
I absolutely love how Yannick was forced to add this content. Div 2 was supposed to be over and done with but now the storyline has absolutely got me sucked in more than ever 👍
Yeeeeeesssssss, this was totally unexpected. I'm anticipating our agent becoming rogue to use the Rogue network.
@@AngelsCreed-jo5fp thats quite a jump imo
My guess is with how much resources massive has tied into shipping out Avatar (also a live service) and with the Star Wars project that will kick into full swing after that the logical decision was to restart content development instead of trying to push out division 3.
@@devinthierault at some point it becomes too hard to fix all that blended ketchup noodles so they gotta rework the engine from the ground up. Kind of like how Massive had to develop SnowDrop 2 for Div2.
@@AngelsCreed-jo5fp agreed. My hunch is that we will Be given an option to become a hunter
@@xaptor8685 Well even Elijah Sumner was in the echo a tank troop but instead became an assaulter
And we will hang every, last, mask of theirs on our wall.
Eye for an eye.
Mask for a watch.
I still hate that they’re bullet sponges, but at least there’s some justification for it…
I've been telling this since the ending of WONY. If Keener had his ANNA computer (the opposite of ISAC), then Division 3 should be a PvPvE game where you can choose to be either SHD or Rogue and if you take the second, then gradually become a Hunter.
Excellent video as always.
I'm still so damn impressed that they are diving deeper and deeper into the lore. It makes me so excited for what is coming!!!
Same here, I’m slowly getting back into the game. I might actually stick around for the next manhunt.
What I think is gonna happen (in Div3)
- Kelso gets killed by the Hunters of McManus (or by then) Natalia while confronting them.

Anyways...😬
Now we have to save communities from the Hunters or "SHD Agents" that were ordered to put a strict Martial Law in all those safe havens (making the communities like prisons/work camps).
--- there are more chances that Manny Ortega will betray The Division
- McManus takes over The Division, making it "evil".
--- impossible since the players need to have the support JTF so that they feel that we are the good ones
- The Hunters become the "SHD Agents".
- We (the actual SHD agents) get marked rogue, and we can't use I.S.A.C. anymore.
--- the Rogue brand depends on ISAC so to end the current agents they need the button, which if I understand correctly, is something that was lost in the transfer of power from one president to another (Weller to Ellis) and would allow the SHD technology to be turned off of all agents, active and renegade, which would not only leave them defenseless by taking away their greatest advantage, but would also allow Natalia Sokolova's private army to become legitimate
- Bardon Scheaffer gets set free by McManus, because he thinks Scheaffer is still on his side.
--- Scheaffer might not be so loyal
- When we are at the meeting point, we get surrounded by Rogue Agents.
@@CamGutier86
Ok... I see you just full on hate on everything I said😂
More chances that Manny...
--- Original... how did you come up with (NGN's) that idea?
But alright that could also fit in the story, Manny sets Kelso up to die by McManus/Sokolova.
Impossible
--- Possible... The Hunters/"SHD agents" can still support the JTF and use them against us "Rogue agents" by just taking over and put in harsh martial laws etc.
(We need to expose them for what they are and proof that we arent bad/rogue to gain the trust of the JTF again)
Point is that his mission is to hunt down rogue and active agents
--- They can still do that, only now (we) the active agents are marked rogue as well...and they as "SHD Agents" hunt Rogue's😉
The rogue brand depends on ISAC
--- Doesn't matter, when we get marked rogue we get kicked out of ISAC's network.
And we still need to gain acces into the rogue network.
(Which is (by then) re-coded/uploaded by Scheaffer/Rhodes into the Hunter/Unknown Network)
There is a possibility that he lied to Lau
--- Ok Negative Nancy guess what...
There is a possibility that he didn't lie😏
New York will not be the centre
--- Ohh sorry Yannick...😑
Even if it is like that, it can still start there...and the meeting point somewhere else.
Scheaffer might not be so loyal
--- Or he might be...
ANNA was devised by Keener and Pharnell with the aim...
--- This is something Faye Lau was working on (with other Rogue agents/Scheaffer (and eventually/later Rhodes will help as well))
Upload A.N.N.A into the Hunter/Unknown Network.
In case if McManus succeed we can still use A.N.N.A. to fight back (without McManus/"The Division" turning off our network (Unless they turn off their own Network as well)
And since you like to be smart about it.
The DZ doesn't make sense in the game (lore wise)
Because the Dark Zone is a "Death Zone" meaning no communications from the outside.
So why would we be welcomed back in the White House and not arrested/killed by The Division after going Rogue and kill a colleague in the DZ?🤔
(So if that's possible, other things like my points are possible too)
Also, it's a game... not everything has to be perfectly realistic my guy...
- Being an engineer (skill build) doesn't make the bullets in your guns less dangerous.
- if you shoot 30 bullets into the head of a known criminal (named enemy) they will not keep walking around like nothing happend.
- A fence with an advertising board in front of it isn't bullet proof either (DUA mission)
Point being: Let's not go into the tiniest detail for a game...
This is a dope concept. I might have to play again.
Bro I’m tryna play this fr
This. Is. 🔥 🔥!! You got a way of getting this concept to them? Like frfr! 😂
Honestly, this is basically what Theo was saying. Everything is corrupt and just hiding things behind everyone.
There’s always something bigger
And how he got that type information if he’s wasn’t lying when broadcasting it to the division? Keener perhaps, there’s no way Theo somehow knows this type of information unless it was from Keener. Faye Lau probably had discovered it too because it started with her curiosity of investigating Keener about what he saying or hiding has true intel or documents of what’s really going on. After her sister’s death, she has to know by playing double agent if what Keener was talking about was true or not.
its possible. Theo was pretty smart. I assume Keener let him have some info
Bigger, fatter, juicer Marlin for me to keep.
It'd be nice to see a new raid that is also a manhunt where we hunt mcmanus or natlya, and work with ALL of the factions against them
You might get your wish.

One of his recordings in Div 2 indicates he was being hunted by the Hunters from NYC.
@@Maowka Do you remember which one?
Even though I haven't had any interest in playing d2 in about a year I still love watching you videos and keeping up on the lore

Good work like always dude!!! Next video with impatience!!
Who remembers the 'howl' of the hunter during the hunt for schaeffer. really weird
Yes please do a crossover/web chart for the characters. This season got really confusing because they are referencing manhunt lieutenants from like 3 seasons ago. And what's worse is they keep alternating between birth names and callsigns.
I have a few thoughts on the Hunter Program and why the Hunter (recruiter) in the Capt. Lewis mission seem to be testing us, not black tusk
Great video as usual. Always come here to have all the info put together
Awesome video! I don't think Manny is suspect. Like you said he's the only other character left in the white house. He even casts shade on Kelso with his "Oh now you're talking to me?" line. He's been around but Kelso probably hasn't involved him in anything. Keep up the great work!
Loving the story lately. And really glad Lau wasn’t a villain. Excited to see what happens with Schaeffer and Sokolova.
I heard someone talking about Manny acting suspiciously in the cutscene.
Also when Cpt. Lewis said "Talk to your boy," I think he meant Manny.
Great video as always already super excited for the next season/manhunt/whatever they plan to do haha plus can't wait for your next videos keep up the great work
Love the division lore and nice we are getting more lore in the Hunters. Great video
Did you ever imagine how really important the hunter are.
maan, thats why i love TC games, they have so many unexpectable twists built on so many levels
now that you mention it with them bringing back and the whole conversation between Fay and Bar saying we dont know who we can trust beside kelso I get the feeling that Manny may secretly be with BT or Homeland with McManus.
I'm sure.other could build on it more
We already have a disrupt skill, it’s called the Jammer Pulse.

When Captain Lewis told Kelso to talk to your boy. He was talking about Schaeffer 🤯
Man, they started off this season with a fucking BANG! The story is getting real good now.
i would love to see team ups with true sons or rogue agents
@I Fateslinger with chd net not working correctly i believe they can find a way around
hunters are gonna turn out to be part of a program of super soldiers it just makes sense
nah, just highly specialized and highly trained. super is a strong word.
Magnificent as always, I defintely look forward to more deep dive vids, and I am very glad you're ok. Be well and I look forward to your next vid.
Kelso was willing to leave Faye to be fed on by crows. She is on my PERMANENT shit list.
That was after the fact that Lau killed Ellis and framed us for killing him.
add: the time when we killed keener and lau was talking about hunters as lau says "more rogues"
Although I don't play division2 anymore I do like the lore and the videos that you put out top quality 👌 👍
Got here early, Really love these hunter vids, Keep it up love the vids!!
Edit: forgot to say to get well soon brother!
It was almost a blessing in disguise that covid shut everything down, making ubisoft either let the division 2 die, or revive the game, and expand the lore
Facts I discovered this game during the shutdown and I was thinking the same thing when I first played it
I'm glad they chose to keep making content
Gold again, you always hit it out of the park.
Holy shit now THAT was a twist I wasn’t expecting 🤯
Your content inspired me to redownload division to run some solo survival
NGN, I’ve been gone for almost 2 years and I’m gonna need a 5 hour video on all of the lore pronto 😅🤙 When did Faye betray us?! I loved that betch! I’m so confused 😭
-Don’t trust the secretary of security.
I think we may have a new faction coming to the Division. Maybe I might be wrong but it will be nice to have a new faction more powerful, with new weapons and gear.
I love your division lore vids. Real quality work as always.👍👍👍👍
The hunters ? FINALLY !
@@Relixification Yeah
Manny definitely will have a large role in the coming seasons assuming the leaks are correct.
Definitely and if the leaks r true then I'm definitely looking forward to it
Interesting info, makes me excited for Season 10 when we get the next part of the story. Especially with that recent discovery where "the Recruiter" has a name.
Well I guess we arrested Schaeffer a little too well considering how this manhunt ended…
Story is shaping up to something exciting! Hope the Netflix movie will be just as good if not better.
Usually I'm a year late too NGN videos but I got this one early
I love this channel. Keep it up. The lore is great. I love the game more and more everytime I listen to it
Would be nice if we could just rerun old manhunts like we can the main target if we missed them to collect all the audio files
Iirc, you technically can, but you can only replay the final missions of each Manhunt if you unlock them in the Season 9 reward track.
Could keener have seen something in the New York dark zone? Could he have tried to stop it?
Once again awesome video, the game was prepating ua for COVID 19 situation in the world. The only thing was missing are DIVISION AGENTS and their motto: " SHOOT FIRST. ASK QUESTIONS LATER. "
Something back at DC smells a tad fishy... and Manny seeming like he's wrapped tighter than some cheap sushi... Least, that's what's ticking around in my head since that last cutscene...
Me too Mav. I want to talk about the conversation further. It isn't just Manny either, I still get funny vibes about Kelso. Even after all this time.
4:13 Pardon my correctiveness, but actually it's 'Magnus', not 'MacManus' at that part.
The recruiter has been watching us…
Keep up the good work - We are happy to wait for your content, Stay well
I still don't really understand why the BTSU hasn't just sent one of their big UAV drones over and rocketed the base of ops...
I mean then again Shaffer is alive so it would kind of explain why Natalia didn’t bomb the White House
I think that it was good that Faye didn't put all of the info in the encrypted files and left Schaeffer with some info. That way, if the BT gets their hands on the files, they still won't have everything they need to stop The Division.
Always LOVE your vids, keep up the GREAT work!
Been waiting for this season since me and my buddy finished the manhunt
If we end up fighting both black tusk and hunters in man hunts this is where the fun begins
Keener did die saying my time is up, haha you have no idea what’s coming so was he referring to this we need more keener coms honestly
I see McManus be the target of season 10 and Natalya, season 11. The black Tusks always been the enemy and can't wait to play the new season
Like I said before hunters and black tusk post be division agents replacement after so many rouge agents appear
