What a frigging GREAT band this lot were. Urban was incredible, Stoner was a brilliant bassist, Pete worked 20 to the dozen on every track, and the Kid was very tall indeed.
Duncan - Yes, great band. Saw them a couple of times in the 70's & they didn't disappoint. Got 2 of their albums, Figment Of Emancipation & Late Night Movies, All Night Brainstorms. Both great albums.
I hear and see Doctors of Madness in the music and stage personas of the Damned (especially in the production of “Wait for the Blackout”) and with the viola and production of Ultravox’s Ha!-Ha!-Ha! The music is so good, I feel deprived and can’t believe I’m just now hearing of Doctors of Madness😮.
I'm super-psyched to now have this footage (didn't know it existed!), BUT.......ya GOTTA check out the studio version from back in the day--yowza!!!!!!! dbh
Richard, did you fall off the stage at the Winter Gardens Malvern in 76.Iwas there but a bit wasted ,still a big fan,so sorry we've lost Peter and Stoner.Hope to catch you doing something soon Paddy
