- In this video I take my 1/10th scale Traxxas Maxx 4S Brushless Monster Truck with me to “Two Rivers Mountain Bike Park” in Southern Missouri….where I bash the heck out of it while also landing some huge jumps!!

My favorite RC car! Most durable car out! I have only broken a C hub carrier. Replaced with aluminum. Steel drive shafts make a difference too. What a great location. Love your video’s. Do more with the Maxx they just don’t break easily. Have a great one! Keep up the bashing!
Hello Aaron, I was thinking about getting the new Maxx. I bash pretty hard. Metal driveshafts and c hub carriers are a must I would imagine. Would you recommend this car? I’m asking, you seem to have good real world experience with it. Thanks Aaron

@@SpeedSyko mine is version 1 with the widemaxx kit, put on the aluminum hubs front and rear, with aluminum C hubs and the steel drive shafts and it is very durable, take mine to the local skate parks and bash with very little issues ever.. mostly body damage..as for version 2, i am a little upset they came out with that. now i want one! it looks awesome! longer chassis appears to make it run more smoothly from the few run videos ive seen so far. love you channel btw just was turned onto it by bars & tone.
If you're ever close too columbia Missouri go too cosmo park and they have a rc track

I agree maxx is alot more durable than xmaxx. To be fair just did the few upgrades to the Xmaxx that should have been done along time ago! So we will see . Good vid!!✊👊👍💪💪💪💪💯💣

Put aluminum c-hub, the steering hub will not come out again.😉
Does Traxxas make some upgraded Aluminum ones?
@@RCKnockout don't know if Traxxas have it but I just go for a cheaper option, any aluminum c-hub will do, caz I only put on a gpm aluminum c-hub.😉

That track is awesome, I wish we had something like that here. Also, Traxxas apparently dropped a Max version 2. I think it has different tires and wider out of the box

Nice Video! Keep it up! :D I own a Maxx too. I managed too break a lot on it: Multiple bulkheads front and rear, The stock plastic driveshaft, Rims, A lot of spur and pinion gears, Multiple esc's, Stock 4s motor, Multiple lower and upper suspension arms, Multiple skid plates, Bumpers, The rod that comes out of the shock, And like 3 sets of diff gears and diff houses, and of course a few body's got smashed.
I probably forgot some things i broke on it but i really gave it hell, Considering how i bash it (Flat out jumps, Concrete landings and more abuse) i think its one of the toughest truck i know. Definitely worth the money, The parts are not too expensive and most hobbyshops do have a good stock of parts for it.
And as i like to say: If i go to the cinema it costs more than the most parts and i got less fun at the cinema so it's totally worth the money.
Wow….you’ve probably broken more on your Maxx than anyone I’ve ever heard of….as long as you’re having fun….that’s all that matters

How can you say it's one of the toughest truck? Since you broke soooo many parts on it..
@@rcplayground7 Personal experience with a lot of other rc cars that broke way easier than this one. But it's only a opinion and your experience may be totally different than mine; And of course that's fine, I really don't care about brands, The main thing is you have fun :D

Nice bash! I pre ordered the blue V2 Maxx. I'm also waiting for the new Rival MT8 and will be comparing these bad boys! Thanks for the video 👍. Yeah the steering hubs and c hubs are two things that I had to upgrade on my V1 Maxx. Even after replacing those parts, that pin would pop out. Also I put captured hinge pins because those dumb threaded hinge pins would back out on their own after like every run.

@@RCKnockout The expensive Traxxas ones. They are like $50 for a set. These Maxx might be a bit more durable than the Xmaxx, but the Xmaxx is way more fun for me at least. Afterwards some upgrades, my X-Maxx rarely breaks. And I'm talking about 30ft plus jumps. I pre ordered the Associated Rival MT8. Rival is the name not the brand. Hehe. It's a bigger MT10

Awesome run and great track! I have a Maxx with widekit, steel driveshafts, and hobbywing max 6 ESC so I can run 6S. The thing is an absolute beast and if you are looking for some more punch I recommend the upgrade!
What tires are you running? Also What kind of bashing do you do?
The v2 needs the solar flare body then ill buy it 🤧, Sweet bashing tho bro 😄

The body stays on better than the xmax too cause you took some pretty hard crashes
Yeah it definitely stays on better than the Xmaxx…..the body definitely is more difficult to get onto the Maxx though….cause it fits so snug under the front shock tower

The maxx is realy awesome. It is my Favorit car at the moment. It can take the absolut beating. The only two thing that i have broke Was absolut my fault... Stock was no Problem but with 6s and mx38 badlands the original servo dies realy fast at the skate/ bmx Park also the Plastik driveshafts but with a 50 kg servo and steel shafts is it absolutly amazing ....
Yeah it’s super durable…….How do the tires hold up to the 6s power? Do you still run the stock ones?
With the non beltet mx38 its Not realy possible to Do 6s speedruns, they Ballon to much. But for a bmx and skatepark they work great, its backflip Monster.... no i dont run the original tires only the badlands.

these are the old non beltet from my 1/8 arrma nero 6s. in addition, i didn't want to spend more than 100 € on the traxxas steel drive shafts. i had the heavy duty steel drive shafts of the nero lying around and i couldn't believe it but they fit perfectly with the widekit 😂😂👍🏻👍🏻
are very similar to those of the erevo. maybe they would also fit, maybe that helps one or the other 😉

@@bigboytoyzrc9258 yeah….I know right….the V2 definitely is a better deal…..but in my opinion proportionally the V1 Maxx with the WideMaxx Kit installed looks better….the V2 looks kinda long…..I’m sure for better performance and stability but it doesn’t look quite as good in my opinion. Looks kinda awkward….like it needs bigger tires or something to go with the extra length….
@@RCKnockout Didn't think about that. Good thoughts on that longer wheel base? I'll be following to see what you think moving forward. The Maxx (at its price) should have came like the V2 in the beginning imo. Great video!
