Ulefone has very good products. I already bought 3 models Armor 16S, 21 and 22. Ulefone should focus their research now on how to make thin batteries with high capacity, if you do your products guaranteed to be the best rugged phone ior regular phonoe in the world.
to be fair most phone brands aren't actually the one manufacturing their own batteries, you're kinda a slave to whatever is available on the market, and compared to 10-15 years ago 15-20k mah batteries are tiny nowadays
@@TheTemplarnight with sili-co battery tech, they could do a 600g phone with 40k mah, or a 300 one with 10k atleast, not rugged phones like rm9p do 6500mah on 230g
This phone flew off my 225ccm motorbike after a fox crossed my drive ride while riding at 100 kmh and survived the crash!! I have minor scratches while me and my bike have extreme scratches difficult to heal after half year. Thank you UleFone ..
Ulefone never answers that question unfortunately. If you go on their videos they always dodge the question by saying if it has software issues they will always update it with software fixes, or something similar to that.
Been lookin at these models, Can i link up with other uhf radio users ? (80 channel UHF dedicated handhelds) on these things ? tryin to decide if the floodlight one is a better choice lol
Ulefone with a 200MP camera? Intrigued! Would love to see some real-world camera tests on this phone. I think the dimensity 8020 chipset is an impressive one in terms of the processing and the gaming instances.
I'm pretty sure it does not, the GSM chip (4G/5G) is connected to its own internal antenna, these detachable antennas are only for VHF or UHF radio bands (to be used for walkie-talkie functionality).
The Ulefone Armor 26 Ultra uses both UHF (Ultra High Frequency) and VHF (Very High Frequency) bands for its walkie-talkie functionality123. UHF Band: Frequency range of 400MHz-480MHz, ideal for short-distance communication with better penetration and clarity, making it suitable for urban and indoor environments23. VHF Band: Frequency range of 136MHz-174MHz, providing wider coverage and less signal attenuation, perfect for long-distance communication in rugged terrains like forests, coastal areas, and mountains23. Additionally, the phone supports DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) modes13, enhancing its versatility in various communication scenarios.
The issue with these phones is the software support is horrendous. They come out with so many new phones that software updates is not existent after 1-2 years.driver support is crap. Their accessories suport is crap, the belt clip is not reliable and wears out quickly. They need to redouble their efforts on that and then make a ultra flagship with:rugged ness,10000 mah battery, superzoom, thermal cam, microscope, laser measurment, top and back flashlights, IR, uhf/vhf with multi protocol support- dmr, nxdn, analog. Sell it for a thousand and people will still buy it.
Loving the innovative features of the Armor 26 Ultra. The Ulefone team seems to be pushing the boundaries of rugged phones! 120Hz display, Dimensity 8020, Walkie Talkie, and 120W charging make it just another normal phone but with military level protection.
If you're a person who likes to go out do adventures in the forest, this phone is for you. I know someone who does mission work in the Amazon and his phone is like this and he told me it's really reliable in the harsh condition he is in.
EXACTLY. It's so difficult to decide which one I want to buy, because I really want satellite com, but also the dual-band digital & analog radio, and the thermal cam. I'd pay more to have a combo kit phone! Only thing that worries me is lack of updates. Android 14 is already out, and updates to support satellite communications will be next and phones won't support it if they can't be updated. Search AST space mobile.
@@nates9589 Can also buy the FLIR usb C adapter to fit in Armor 26 walkie talkie. Its very hard to make decision between Armor 27t Pro 5G vs Armor 26 Ultra Walkie Talkie. Most probably will buy Armor 26 and attach with FLIR usb C adapter. Because the standalone FLIR adapter thermal is 25hz compared to Armor 27t Pro 5g thermal which is 9hz.
Why can't the companies make this kind of phones in 2 seperate parts! For daily usage you can simply use half of it! And when you want to be a camping device, it will attach with its other half in a seamless manner!
Does the walkie-talkie feature work with the screen off? Say you're on facebook, and you still hit the side button to hit the walkie, talkie It kind of defeats having a walkie talkie button if the screen always has to be on, just use the screen
thermal is there in Armor 27t Pro and some other version. Projector i saw it in Tank 3 Pro. I think all these companies purposely doesn't want to include everything in one phone.
@@RoSi20145 those phones are too much power and will require an assigned a frequency and an annual operating license. They will also need a federal registration number
A very fat phone with out projector, thermal! Only the ancient walkie talkie function that reminds the first rugged phones of the 00's! Why buy this and not the Tank 3 Pro? (And looks alike to it)
That projector doesn't do anything when you're out in the wild dude. When there's absolutely zero signal such as in the forest or mountain and you don't wanna lose communication with your team, the only answer is the walkie talkie not that silly projector. That's what I called a true outdoor smartphones.
This will be dependable when the Zombie apocalypse or nuclear disaster happens. When cell service doesn't exist anymore. Love the battery capacity ❤, would be great if it has solar panels so can charge up if no electricity source available.

mate, the place you test, is in China right?

Does it have a stability function for videos?
Gimbal is only solution anyway
They need to give software updates to their existing lineup of phones. The camera performs sub par because the driver has not been optimized
Can I use it as a GMRS radio,or no,and what frequencies do work on UHF and VHF. Thanks 🙋
Does the two radio work with ordinary two way radios? Past phones with built it two way radio only partially works.
Do you mean the walkie-talkie? Yes, it can be connected to the ordinary radios.
Does it have a 3.5 MM jack and a DAC chip? With music being a major selling point it makes total sense to have both.
3.5mm jack yes. About DAC chip, you can ask Ulefone about it🤝
Which is the best Armor 24 or armor 26 pls?
Do you need two phones with walkie talkie so you can communicate ? Or you need a transceiver ??? Thank you
Do the case and the charger and accessories you showed come in the box??
Yes.
@gizmochina can you put the hotspot on and keep wifi on at the same time with standard version? what about walkie talkie version?
Is the walky talky transmission encoded? If so, at what level?
At dhot 2pi protocol
Can you tune into Police walkie talkie transmissions?
My question is what network can you use it with Verizon T-Mobile boost mobile, AT&T or sprint
How often or how long will the company provide security and OS updates?

You could use the PTT dedicated button. It would be more fun
Appreciate the detailed review guys... excellent job & seriously considering this device!
Headphone jack?
Yeah, the Ulefone Armor 26 Ultra got a headphone jack

Better sound from wired headphones.

does this phone work with version??? bc the armor 24 doesnt
Is communication distance and signal strength going to be a hurdle any more?
Does it have a satellite messaging service?
No it doesn't.
at what power does the radio operate? Can I choose the frequency?
The walkie-talkie power is 4W, it supports UHF, VHF, and 251 intercom channels.
You just earned a new subscriber. Great video mate 👍
Whats the range on optimal circumstands?
It has 2 antennas, UHF's range is 0-22KM, VHF’s range is 0-30KM.
Is it have a satellite messaging, Bullitt app
Great review. I want that phone! 😀
Where can we buy?
Aliexpress it's on sale on this days

Amazing ulefone 😻
Got to see if it withstands a BB from an airsoft gun multiple shots heavyweight
That's a VHF UHF radio and they don't even tell you what frequencies it uses and it wouldn't be legal in most countries without a license.
No reverse wireless charging, as I see?😢
this is awesome. just needs a thermal camera and sat coms
