I have such a strong emotional attachment to this game and its music, and hearing the themes played by the smooth and wistful EWI is pretty much the aural equivalent of reminiscing on idealized memories. It's like nostalgia squared! I also love that you got to show off with those scale runs. So wonderfully done!
OMG this is incredible... This was a very dificult RPG. Not the best graphics, not the best or more elaborated story, but the music and the sense of adventure made it wonderful to play... It has a great value in my memories. Britannia Castle please!

I don't know if you still read comments on this, but I wanted to send a HUGE thank you for this. I adore this game's music and this is certainly one of my favorite tracks. I could listen to this for hours! So peaceful and soothing.
Over the last couple of months, I've been listening to all of your video game covers while doing homework/studying, and this was the last video on the playlist. They're all fantastic (especially the Pokemon themes), and I can't wait for more! ^_^

Its lovely to hear peoples' connections with these games! I feel similarly about a collection of Ultima games for PC that I received as a gift around 25 years ago!

I just missed out on Ultima Online, but I got a pack containing Ultima 0 to 8 as a present one year, and played the shit out of a lot of them! The NES ports look completely different though!

Have one last track to compose for my client and writersblock is slapping me around again and thought it would be cool to have a more cheerful melody and this tune had it so yeah. Id like to make something in this style now. Everytime i try to force composing i end up with nothing though.
How to win ultuma: Exodus Required A thief (elf), a cleric (dwarf), a paladin (dwarf) and a wizard (fuzzy) 1. Use repel on goblins and orcs and undead on ghouls and skeletons up to 400 experience for all character (It's recomended to get a sling/blowgun to your paladin/thief) 2. Get some keys at a guild and talk to lord brithish 4 times for each chararcter 3. Fight with pirates an steal his ship 4. Get too much money for each of you characters 5. Locate and enter the whilpool to the land named ambrosia 6. Each character get the flower of ambrosia and use the keys to get to the shrines (Recomended Thief: dextery Paladin and cleric : wisdom (fore for cleric and strenght (more for paladin) Wizard: dextery and intelillence Warning it's possible you die for a dragon and you need lotsa money) 7. Go to the royal city a locate sherry give the flower and you get the compass heart for each character 8. You need to get devils guard using the moongates an get the bribe comand (the left moon = moongate location/right moon = your destination) 9. Go to dawn (9 west and 4 nort from montor west in two new moons, bribe the guards, steal the gold pick and escape using the compass heart 10. Buy a lot of torches and go to this dungeons Cave of death = silver pick Cave of fire = fire mark Cave of fool = force mark Cave of gold = king mark Cave of sol = snake mark Cave of moon = time lord (order of the cards) 10. Get the mystic armor and swords (silver pick near of dawn (weapon))(gold pick near gray (armor)) 11. Go to yew and using the power of the get the pray command an go to the circle of yew and pray to get the silver horn 12. Go to ambrosia and pray to the shrines to get the cards 13. Train a lot and get levels thanks 14. Go to the isle of fire, use the silver horn, survive the castle, pay in the exodus room, order the cards from the same order as say the time lord, get the ank and run outside to the outside 15. You hast defeated exodus you win

I really like this! Pretty lively for town music, it's an interesting mix between the usual serenity and jovial excitement.
