Makes sense, just like your small lot trades don't move the market, your tiny lot stop losses aren't the ones being hunted. it is all about the big players.

He's right. Retail stop losses can be at the random places because, everybody has their way of trading. We have to focus on the big boy stop loss. That could be above/below the range because range is our friend 😉

Dun think too much on SL. Just understand the flow of the market. If it hit your SL means, market is going further down for a good price. There is never ending to a bigger SL, so dun stress . When I trade daily chart, my SL is min 100 pips. Now I learn from experience, once the trade able to hit your big SL, U know the market is reversible to the opposite. Honestly, it takes lots of cash to hit big SL. So if U understand the flow of the market, U are quite safe. An example of Audchf,CHF was strong n AUD was -5 recently. Any trade for a retracement recently at 4 hour chart,sell, say ,SL 30pips, it move all the way up to 85pips, showing AUDChf looking for a better price to sell back. It took out my SL of 30pips.. finally when it hit its desired price n important R with high vol seller put in, audchf when straight back down. I caught that trade on the spot using vol near R level. Sometime I let the market complete it's work n I watch only at R/S level n wait for a test. Than I will know the move n intention of the BB.. hope it helps.. just to share from my experience on recent trade audchf. Cheers
