@0:23, I think it's extremely disrespectful to say Son needs a kick up his backside. I know Steve Nicol is a legend but come on. Son hasn't played badly before this game. He has hit the crossbar, hit the post and goalkeepers made some very good saves. He's just terribly unlucky and had to adjust to playing with new team mates like Perisic.
And to suggest that Son's 3rd goal is lucky?... I've said this many times, Son has scored so many similar goals, _low, powerful shot near the keeper's feet_ and every time these pundits say he's lucky. At what point do you give him credit? He has scored so many of these goals it cannot be down to luck anymore.

it’s ridiculous how Kane has transformed into a top 2 playmaker in the league and how Son has turned into a top 3-4 goal scorer in the league. You would expect Son to be the playmaker and Kane to be the scorer but they have evolved immensely these last 2-3 years.
I’d say they both have naturally gotten better every season and both are playmakers and goal scorers. Kane just has become the better one, particularly in center when dropping back and setting up Son over years, which is why they have record of 2 players with most G/A to each other. They are great example of 2 great players playing together for 7 years now, or this is 8th.

Supposedly the few times a team has called, Liverpool possibly being 1 as Klopp loves Son, is greeted kindly followed by NO! Again I don’t know how true it is? Also said he really loves Spurs and wants to win there. If you look at the context, and yes history of Spurs, winning the PL with Tottenham would be more significant then Son or Kane joining City/ whoever and getting 3-4 PL titles.

Yeah, he wouldn't have been a like for like positional replacement, but Son Berg Moura combo showed some potential in the first game that they should've explored more of - especially given Kane's form at the time.
Honestly, if we're comparing Kane's beginning of last season VS Son's beginning of this season... I'd say Kane's was slightly worse simply because at least Son tried. Kane looked outright disinterested and hungover from his failed move until Conte came in.
Hopefully, though, both Kane and Son are done now with having dry spells. If both of them can maintain top form concurrently and continously, then Spurs can finally end their trophy drought.

Richarlison is a nothing compared to Son. He's not bad, but most of his goals are akin to Chicarito when he was at United (i.e. right place, right time...he doesn't CREATE things, like Son, Kane, and Kulusevski do). Case in point, Son just showed today, less than half an hour, mind you, more skill, with BOTH feet, than Richarlison has in his career to date. No reason to think, after today, that Richarlison will be relegated to a sub for the rest of the season, unless one of the front three get injured or something.
Richalison will be a great back up for Kane and Son because there are a lot of matches going forward. I too was shocked to see some spurs fans saying Son should be benched and Rchalison is a top player so he should start going forward, and Kane, Richalison, and Kuku should start. What a muppets
