I just made the hubby a mouthwash with it, mixed with yarrow and cloves and he thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread for some tooth infect that caused pain. Also increased vit C and he feels so much better😊

Thanks for this one Heidi. Had no idea it did that much. I put fresh wooly lambs ear into 70% rubbing alcohol…. Like a tincture. Strain it after 8 weeks and put it in a spray bottle. If I cut myself (usually slice myself with the rotary cutter) I clean the wound really well and then spray the wound. Then I put on a butterfly. It stops the bleeding and closes the wound. Had a 1” long cut last week (on my forefinger knuckle) that should have had stitches…..wound was completely healed in five days with barely a scar.
Wooly Lambs Ear is a great way to get young children interested in the garden, because they love to rub its leaves. Just make sure you either have a lot of plants or you limit their rubbing,. I've seen plants seriously damaged, asked the person what was wrong with their plant because it had 'bare spots' on the leaves...yup, too much rubbing by little hands.

Well, whaddayanno? I am growing this plant purely because l like the softness of the leaves, and l fell in love with it when l dicovered it in a garden of a house we rented when l was 12. I have to grow it in a hanging basket, under an evergreen tree canopy, so that the frost doesn't kill it in the winter: it will die back, but not actually die. On the other side of the tree, hang my herb baskets, with oregano and thyme. And l had no idea of lambs ears medicinal properties! Aaah, but God did! That's why it hangs near the other herbs...So, now that it's Autumn here, l had better harvest and dry some leaves, before it goes to sleep. Thankyou, Heidi! I love this plant - it's so soft, and I enjoy showing children just how wonderful it is - AND - LOL, I was, seriously, just out in my herb garden cleaning up last year's stems. It's March, in NY, but we have had many, many very nice days. No snow, not even much mud today....wierd weather.

The woolly lamb’s ear has taken over the medicinal garden and little ones are popping up all over the flower garden! I was just going to be getting rid of the whole thing! I finally got ahold of some Lambs Ear last year. Stuck it in the partial sun near the roof drain. This Spring it is growing like gangbusters! What an added thrill to know I can use it medicinally for some things! Thank you!

With so many plants that grow in different regions but are similar not only in appearance but health properties, that's only more proof to me that we have a Heavenly Father. He knew that one day, humans would be so scattered around the world but would still need the same kind of medicines. Even more so that most plants serve as remedies to health problems that did not exist when Adam and Eve left Eden. There's no other explanation for how those plants knew to help with things like diabetes and cancers and high blood pressure or addition to drugs we only have in today's world other than an All-Knowing God, who has already authored all our lives, made them for us.
I've been growing it for a couple of years now. I gave some away last year and it's now one of her favorite plants. She uses it for tea and that's what I plan on using it for. I just harvested a big bowl of it. It was a little patch last year but it grew.

I love your advice. I have many ears of experience "listening to my body", in regards anything. It will tell me Yes, simply by yawning. This is a Common Response, when using Energy Corrections, Muscle Testing and Correcting Emotiona Trigger Statatements. It also works for a nearby person, where they do it and you Confirm when it is completed, by a yawn! An answer of No, gets no yawn... Anyway, i simply hold an item and Ask myself, "Is this going to Help me?" And then wait for response. I can take it farther, say i got a Yes, by asking "Will this Help my leg?". It is totally possible to Ask IF the herb/plant/tincture/tea/food should be Okay TO have twice a day? More? Once? Go until it stops giving a Yes. Very simple practise! And since no Muscle Testing is necessary? You can use it in a Store, in a car, anywhere, no embarrassment! No one can tell what you are doing! Lol I can use this TO Detect IF a soap will be bad for me. For checking a Used Item, for Evil ties from previous owner, all types of things! I do not use it that often, but it IS handy for new herbs! As i am picking them? I will know by holding....

I don't think I have wooly lamb's ear where I live, but mullein grows like a weed here. It's pretty cool to see when it's huge. I've used that for baby bunny nesting material.

The poor honey bees come to these flowers & there's always assasin bees killing them. I've seen the assasin bee jab the honey bee with its front legs like a dagger until it fell to the ground. I was all 🤨🥺😟 aw! I chase it away and they are super fast & Are looking at you. It has not stung me but I am cautious.
I suppose it depends on where one lives. While mine does like to travel a bit, I have never found it to be that invasive. I am glad it is a hardy plant

You can use an old sock top to pull over it and hold in place or wrap with gauze or a reusable ace bandage

When you make tea, do you dry the leaves first, or do you use them straight off the plant?
Any time herbs are coming in fresh, I use them fresh but I dry a bunch up for the months they are not growing and use those for tea then
