This mall is actually getting a bit of a facelift and they're putting apartment buildings on property I believe in the old Sears or the old Macy's part of the mall.
I go to the movie theater here often. The lower box office has been closed since COVID. I doubt it ever comes back. They just make you buy at concession stand, kiosk or online. If you wanna see dead dead mall, go to Fashion Square. BTW, Altamonte is pronounced, "alta-mont"
This is definitely outside of the Orlando region about 30-45 minutes drive from Orlando to Oviedo. The only real mall in Florida is the Florida Mall on Orange Avenue or the Mall at Millenia
You definitely need to go online and see how people pronounce these places before you go cause your butchering the English language. It's Oviedo (Oh-Vee-Doh)
