It's hard to believe it's been over 5 years since Paul Walkers passing - looking back, it's amazing how much The Fast and the Furious, and Paul himself impacted the cultural world of the 2000s. This song was also the debut single from Charlie Puth, which ended up becoming (albeit shortly) the most viewed video on TH-cam - one of the most deserving videos to do so. Did you know that Charlie is also a trained pianist, both in classical and jazz, graduating from Berklee? From someone who is grieving a lost brother, so sorry that happened to you. such a tragic thing i wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I lost my older brother 6 months ago tomorrow. he passed the same way as Paul Walker did and i feel the exact way you do. so much regret and anger at myself for not trying to form more of a bond. fortunately about the last year and a half of his life we got a little closer and would have conversations here and there, and would help each other out with things on our cars. and i cherish all of that deeply, but we never really hung out just to hangout and it hurts knowing i can’t make any more memories. i had just assumed we would get closer when we got older but now i’m hating myself for thinking that.

This song is for my dog Zues he was my best friend!! Whenever I came home from school crying(cause I'm being bullied) he would run up to me and make me feel better!! How he died was he ate to much and his intestines twisted and he had to get surgery but we had no money at the time so.......he died in front in me......😭
But now I know he is in a better place.......with his siblings who died at birth. Whenever I listen to this song it makes me cry.
I know this will sound weird but....whenever I am upset I go on my padio and look up.....and talk to him what's on my mind. I would feel better when finishing talking to him. Before I go inside I would always say "talk to you later Zues I really miss you and love you, bye for now".........i would then blow him a kiss and go inside..........😢
