First time hearing GHOST / 星街すいせい(official), wasn't expecting to get into more VTubers, there seems to be a special rise in their numbers over Japan.

Didn't expect a vtuber video on this channel, but I ain't complaining! Suisei is one of the most talented vtuber vocalists out there. She's actually the first vtuber ever to feature on The First Take, to give you an idea of her level of confidence and ability.
Certainly wasn't expecting you to react to Ghost, but it's a welcome surprise!
Thank you for the reaction! Recommending Suisei's Stellar Stellar of course. The original mix first, then The First Take version. She's not as technical as Ado, just because Ado is vocal technique incarnate, but this song shows her range. She does the lyrics with this one as with most of her songs (English subtitles available on the Stellar Stellar MV!). Composed, arranged and mixed by Taku Inoue, a frequent collaborator of hers.

Love that you're taking a peek into the world of VTuber music. There's so many talented singers there. Suisei is absolutely exceptional. But if you wanna see someone who's a little more insane and chaotic, check out Hakos Baelz with her best single: Psycho. That one will definitely blow you mind, in terms of production and vocals equally ;)

To answer your question, while she is a streamer, singing is her main focus. That said she plays a mean game of tetris apparently.
As for recommendations, while GHOST is a personal favorite for me especially for what it means in reference to Suisei herself, It definitely aged compared to her newer songs. Personal recommendations are Kakero! (Run!), Template, Michizure, and some of her songs as Midnight Grand Orchestra.

Midnight Grand Orchestra might get claimed, Toy's Factory tends to be kind of aggressive about that.
I would say shes one of my fav artist in the j-pop sphere beside ado and few others, maybe checj on her project with producer taku inoue called "Midnight grand Orchestra" ? Would love you to listen one of their song, especially "midnight mission".
On techniques part yea ofc u couldnt compare her to someone like ado but do note that the song is almost 3 years old at this point and shes gotten better each year since then.
Suisei is by far my favorite Vtuber in terms of original music. Also strongly recommend her ongoing project called Midnight Grand Orchestra with producer Taku Inoue.

Stellar Stellar by Suisei is definitely a favorite, and I'd recommend first the studio version before the First Take version.
I recommend checking out wii wii woo from her the bass on that is so good.
Plenty of others have pointed out Stellar Stellar, so I'll offer some others from her. Both 'Template' and 'Soiree' are quite different from Ghost and each other, so those may interest you.
For something a bit different in the vtuber music world, I'd suggest one of Suisei's co-workers, Tokoyami Towa. The songs 'My Roar' and 'Anemone' specifically are very metal.

Suisei is most popular for the music in Hololive and im really love that like Ghost and Template. Also Hololive have so Many Talent Vtuber in there Like Tokoyami Towa,Amane Kanata,Ayunda Risu,Moona Hoshinova,Kobo Kanaeru,Nerisa Ravencroft, and Many More.
And i also recomended to you Song By Tokoyami Towa - ANEMONE
