  • This week we want to give you not much talk, just some peaceful assembling to some great classcial music. The nutcracker suite fits very well into this time of year so you might even get some christmas vibes while watching this.
    Have a nice weekend!

    From electrical point of view it is a supermarket multisocket devices.

    i have these boards on all my systems through the house and believe they have made a huge difference. i like the surge protection. there was a huge difference when connecting my tv and bluray play. i also use one as part of my instrument setup ...dirty power etc can be a real issue in bars\cafes. the supra gets rid of all the funny pops and clicks. just my experience. cheers

    Why not use tinned copper cables? Just like Supra uses in their power cords to avoid the negative effects of oxidation.

    Not star-wired connections inside. Ahh...

    Why are stranded switching wires not equipped with sleevs or tinned?

    Interesting is that when I have seen your LoRad assembly movie all cables were ended by ferrule crimp sleeves and here not. Where is the trick? Seems to be kind of inconsistency ?

      The difference between the Lorad connector and the block's connector is that they have different types of termination and cable type. On the Lorad connector, we have a screw termination that requires an end sleeve to make correct contact between cable and screw. Meanwhile, on the block's contacts, we have a special washer on the screw of the connector, which means that you should not have an end sleeve on the cable (as it does not make correct contact between sleeve and washer)

      EMI & RFI protection at some level? The case is made of aluminium? How thick is? Also, the metal parts of socket's inside the schuko s are made of cooper, ofc coper or some alloy? Thx

    I don't get it, this is just a standard powerboard.

    i am sorry but its a realy cheap inline power socket. nothing special at all. the power outlets are extreme cheap ones for only cents...the only thing about is is that its shielded. testet it against normal ones...minimal better results. i got also a nordost qb4.2...thats such a big difference...not even close🤣
    tried many cable companies...but only nordost delivered something realy special life like performance. more body, clearer, sharoer more colorful...just a real sound over all.

      The block isolates interference from approximately 5 MHz to 10 GHz via filters, which affects the equipment positively but not within audio frequencies where you need to supplement with our Lorad cable that isolates at audio frequencies "Audio range" between 10 Hz and 100 kHz. The components in the block such as the contacts are manufactured in Europe with high quality precision and thus not cheap materials.

    The first slot is not filtered?

      All mains blocks can be ordered with or without filters for any of the sockets. Power Amps are recommended to be connected to an unfiltered outlet.

      179 with surge protector but otherwise agreed - it needs a star wiring connection badly.
