Y’all saw Darren’s face soon as JJ mentioned Rape? He was trying so hard to not lash out and hurt the kid. This is definitely going to send him down a relapse path with his depression
I'm so glad Darren believed Frankie. He knew that Frankie went through the same rape ordeal as Nancy did when she went through it herself with first Darren's stepbrother Jake and then Finn
The confrontation time. Darren confronts JJ about sexually abusing Frankie. Darren loves his daughter and knowing that being around JJ all the time traumatizes her.
Darren saw right through JJ, especially at the part @2:29 and when JJ grabs him @4:13. What’s the bet Suzanne knew the entire time and did nothing. If this is the case, then she is just as evil as JJ. I’m happy Darren saw right through him and believed Frankie. Another reason why I think he also believed Frankie straight away because of what happened to Ollie with the Buster storyline and that It will bring back memories of Ollie. Maybe in the future Ollie will come back as a special guest in the time jump and provides Frankie advice on how to move forward. Really happy Frankie spoke up as JJ was never going to stop. Justice will be served. Well done Hollyoaks on this storyline that is creating awareness for this important issue. Well done 💙💙💙
Literally been watching Hollyoaks for 20 years (grew up literally watching with my mum lol) & stopped like 2 years ago - came back to see this storyline n the acting is amazing!!!! Ashley never fails to amaze me!!!! Isabelle is incredible.
Best scene Hollyoaks has done in a long long time. This is what the show lacked recently, proper drama scenes with intense moments and fantastic acting made with passion and effort. Cause the last few years Hollyoaks only focused on cartoon childish humour, so happy it's gone back to its roots like it did back in its golden era (2006-2013). Hollyoaks has made its comeback with fantastic drama and storylines in 2024!
Disagree Ryan Mulvey as JJ, has been amazing playing this role, of the manipulative abusing brother, both he Isabella Smith deserve awards for portraying such uncomfortable roles, Ashley Taylor Dawson has smashed this storyline too, I think it must be even more difficult when it's brother and sister abuse, rather than say a relative, poor Darren doesn't want to believe that his son could be capable of doing this to his daughter 😢
This acting and storyline deserves an award. Frankie throughout, especially. JJ is pretty wooden, BUT Frankie has done amazingly. In this episode Darren and Frankie are knocking this into orbit. Well done everyone involved. 🎉
That confrontation!! Darren saw straight through his lies !!
Love how quickly he connected the dots & wasn’t fooled by JJ deflecting attempts
I hope Oscar doesn't get dragged into this. He's another victim of jjs lies
I hope he does that way everyone knows whats up and jj get a puah@@alexdale2387

I’m so relieved that Darren believes Frankie! At least she has him in her corner.

I haven’t watched hollyoaks in YEARS but I’ve seen quite a lot in regards to this storyline and I have to say I’m SO GLAD Darren believes Frankie.
Same but I hate JJ he's a total monster
Glad he can see through JJs fake tears compared to poor Frankies real ones
Notice how JJ calls him Dad ONLY when he is trying to push for his emotions.
When he turned to him in the car you can see jj's face twitch 😅
Good job Darren I am so proud of Frankie for telling her dad about her brother now he can get in trouble for this stuff

I am just glad she told her dad and not her mum
She did tell her mom in a different scene
Give him hell, Darren! ❤

I think the actor playing JJ is doing great in portraying a sociopath tbh
Jj is doing very well and isn’t wooden wtf
Good job Darren👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I can tell Darren's pissed off by the look on his face
Don't believe jj
Serves JJ right!!! 😡
He is living in helll
