Thank you for this video. It is of special interest to me as I owned and operated N283SW for 13 years in Alaska. I was sad to see it go, but was honored to see it restored as the Yeti Porter.
Thank you very much for your nice comment. It was amazing to see this piston-driven Porter back in Switzerland. It is a great wish come true for me. I have read its story at McCarthy Air before. It must be a very beautiful place in Alaska. Your comment was a nice surprise and really honors me. Thank you so much and all the best!!!

It is sad news to learn of the crash, and death of a pilot, may he rest in peace. On an unrelated note: I have only just now noticed the debris deflectors near to the wheels of the red and white machine. Like little "brooms", I can see how they would be effective, as they are similar to the "hula skirts" on some tractor-trailer units. Near to the top/sides of the trailer's wheels, there are brush type deflectors, mostly seen on UPS company trailers. I worked as a truck driver for quite a while, and we always called them "hula skirts"! Just a dumb story, but that's what the aeroplane's "brooms" reminded me of!
Once again, it’s never disappointing with another yet, Fantastic video/upload! Hope you had a wonderful day when making it, as for every time, it is a great gratification to always be giving you my thoughts, and sentiments, and upon your great hardships you strive to innovate, and my support that I promise that will last forever for it, as your magnificent work tends to always improve gradually and yet inspire many! SAD NEWS: Very last Pilatus PC-6 ever built crashed into the sea off Crete today!!
Una muy triste noticia!.
a very tragic accident, one pilot was killed😢
Sorry to hear, and deepest condolences, for those onboard the flight 💐
Wow! That's terrible. 😞
That's very sad to hear!
Glorious aircraft, a skydivers dream because of it's fast climb speed and STOL possibilities.

Great catches!)

So sad!😢 thanks for sharing
Super beautiful airplane, fantastic video mate!
Очень красиво. Прекрасная съёмка. Спасибо.
Un avión majestuoso!. El sonido de ambos es increíble!. Excelente video MATTHIAS!. FELICITACIONES!.👍👍
Really excellent PC6 catch. Fun the first
The last piston Pilates I saw was in the early 80’s flying jumpers. It was slow to altitude compared to the turbines.
Great footage of these two PC-6 in action, I love these STOL beauties! Definitely an aircraft high up on my to-spot list!
Amazing video Matt 👍🤩
I don’t know why but that aircraft looks gorgeous
Thank you!
Wow! Such a Great Aircraft! I can not tell what is better, The Amazing Performance put on by the Pilots or Your Excellent Filming! Well done!! :)
Very cool Matt! Another great video!
Nice, very nice.

🍀👍
Amazing 🤩
Very Nice
Love the PC-6. I would love to catch the piston variant someday. Sad to hear about the crash of the last ever produced PC-6 😢
Ich denke STOL ist in diesem Fall eine Untertreibung. :) Schoene Gruesse Matt. :)
*Nice*
Are you gonna come to the langenthal airshow?
just asking, no advertisment.
Hi there, thanks for your message. It is in September, isn't it? Yes, I think this would be a great idea. Love this Yeti Porter.
Why no winglets?
It is a STOL aircraft.
They will be missed for replacement aircraft after seeing the last production ever built
So true ... Only a Pilatus PC-6 Porter can replace a Pilatus PC-6 Porter.
I acknowledge its versatility, but this is truly one of the ugliest planes ever built.
