As near as I can figure, FOUR things about Landsat 9:
1- refreshed coverage of entire surface every 8 days.
2- link with Landsat 8 to spot changes more sonner than 8 days.
3- 4X color differentiation. 16, 384 shade discrimination.
4.1- more wavelengths from OLI-2 instrument visible and ultra spectrum (maybe).
4.2- TIRS-2 instrument improved infrared sensors.
