  • Kochi (also known as Cochin) is a city in southwest India's coastal Kerala state. It has been a port since 1341, when a flood carved out its harbor and opened it to Arab, Chinese and European merchants. Sites reflecting those influences include Fort Kochi, a settlement with tiled colonial bungalows and diverse houses of worship. Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, typical of Kochi, have been in use for centuries.
In this vlog, you’ll see the beautiful Fort Kochi and interesting converstaion with the localities.
I also bumped into a couple of amazing foreign vloggers.

Priya certainly Kerala was the spice capital from ages. The Colonial powers came to India because they needed spices to preserve meat. The great continent of America was discovered because Christopher Columbus lost his way to reach Kerala and saw America. He could not find pepper there. So he took capsicum and called it Bell pepper. Kerala has held its charm all these centuries

I loved this vlog Priya. The energy from you, your crew and the people of Kochi, Kerala was amazing. I'd love to go there to see Michael who was selling vegetarian fish and uncle In his lungi. The thing I liked the most about this vlog was your facial expression at the end when you realized you were talking to, two fellow TH-camrs. I've watched this vlog twice and the end gets me everytime, keep up the great work. ❤❤❤
