I know I've been vidding the hell out of Kolvina lately, but they're just so perfect I can't help it. And I don't watch TVD anymore, but I'm subbed to a ton of people who still do and still vid Delena, and, of course I watch them, hence how I heard this song. And, since there are a ton of amazing Delena vids already to this song (and I suck at vidding them anyways XD) I of course decided to use Kolvina. I was debating on waiting for the finale to use it since there will more than likely be mentions of Davina from Kol. I mean, she was the love of his life...1000 years is a long time... but I will be beyond angry if they brush them aside like they never happened (and give Kol a new love interest). She was so important to his character development, just like Elena was for Damon's on TVD, and still, a whole season later, they're still going strong like she's not locked in a box somewhere.
On another note, does anyone else think Davina isn't gone for good? I've thought about it the past few days and I firmly believe she'll come back. Maybe not for a while, but eventually, like possibly late S4? Here's why I believe this:
1. MN stated that the ancestral plane wasn't destroyed, simply cut off from the land of the living, therefore Davina still exists somewhere.
2. Even though JP wrote her goodbye to Danielle & Davina, neither Danielle nor any of the cast has written about it, and trust me, I've been looking for it. Just because JP says they're gone for good doesn't mean they are. Look at Matt Davis. What about Steven McQueen? And Nathaniel Buzolic? She acted like all their characters were gone for good, but they're all alive today. Sure, it took them a while to come back, but they did.
3. Danielle said in an interview that she had no idea if she was coming back to the show or what the writers had in store for her character, just that it was up in the air and "that anything can happen on this show".
4. The light at the end when she disconnects the ancestral plane? Does it remind anyone else of Bonnie and Damon being sent to the prison world in 5x22? The scenes are scarily similar, so much so that I doubt there's a coincidence.
5. Kolvina was such an important ship on this show. The writers have wanted them together since probably at least mid season 1, and they jumped through all these hoops to make them happen. For those of you who don't know, Davina was originally going to resurrect Kol in his original body instead of Mikael. Nate just wasn't available at the time, which made them come up with the body swap storyline so Kolvina could happen no matter what. Looking back on it now, I understand why they killed Daniel's Kol off. I was livid at the time, but now I see the rhyme and reason behind it all, and I understand. In a way, it made their story even more epic than it would've been if they'd written it the way they'd liked to originally.
There are so many more reasons why I think she'll come back, but those are the major ones...Anyways, sorry for the mini rant and thanks for watching this! I hope you like it!

I keep rewatching your Kolvina videos and ugh I need them back! Kol and Davina are soulmates. And if the unfortunate rumor about this being the last season of the Originals is true, I hope we at least get a satisfying ending for these two somehow.
