So punchy I like it, i think you have the tone right on the money here. Who doesn’t love funk when the bass is ringing this good. I can tell you enjoyed playing this one out. 🤟

Hey man amazing tone on that rickenbacker ..I'm just learning to play but can slap out a few songs ..how do you play without planting your thumb on the pick up lol ..bass playing is so technically more difficult than what most people realise lol
I agree with the last comment 😃About the technique of not fixing the thumb, I place the part between the wrist and the elbow on the bulge of the body. That is where I stabilize my right hand.
