Can’t wait! In 1 week we’ll be traveling to Scotland for the first time, we’ve done various Scandinavia/Germany/Denmark trips with our motorhome. But this looks so nice and wonderful, excellent. Thanks for the video!

well done to all concerned......I have previously used continental Aires for years while travelling to different locations and had always wished my home country of Scotland had similar facilities....now I have given up motorhoming but I would love to spend time touring Scotland knowing these services are available....

Great to see my friend Holly with her site open and so good you could go and see her Cameron. We are still hoping to be open at Croila Croft Kingussie PH21 for Thurs 1st July and I cannot thank Holly enough for the help and advice she has given me to get going too :-)

Great news, do you have a site as well and where abouts are you?
You should put a link up, we are coming to Scotland from the NW of England in August all being well. 👍

May many more Land Owners follow suit and allow us Motorhomers and Campervaners enjoy what Scotland has to offer. Would love to see it rolled out right across the UK.

That area is one of the most stunningly beautiful areas, especially with a bit of snow on the hills.

Brilliant news. Scots now being friendly and organised for tourists. When I go home to the highlands, I travel to Newtonmore, the welcome is warm and genuine. Although I stay with relatives there are facilities in the village for anyone that has a need for them. It's fantastic that similar wee places are making the effort and replicating what is present on the continent. Good services/facilities. Simple. If I'm using the motorbike in France, Aires are a great treat for the tired traveller, providing shade for the sun, toilets, water, tables, showers and somewhere to stretch my legs and get feeling back to my bottom after a guid few hours in the saddle. Ok, it's for campervans for the present, but humble beginnings... I wonder if midge nets should be sold to frustrated tourists in the summer??!! I am inspired by this video and warm in my soul.

I do believe these are a fantastic development, my only issue is I do like my solitude. Having worked all the way through this pandemic with many hours of overtime since last March I like to get away from the hustle bustle - currently with the motor home boom I’m finding it more rewarding with my bike and lightweight kit and seeking out places where human contact is less likely, and yes I do pee in a bottle and poo in a doggie poo sack - taking all my waste away responsibly! 💩I will be passing here on the way to Skye later this year for our annual family break so will drop by for a wee look. Yet again Great video Cameron. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍

We plan to go here in October when we travel Scotland. Saw the site on the Campra FB page and then saved the info for when we go. Just wish England and Wales would follow suit although some areas are getting better.

Superbly situated for those heading too/from Skye or north to Torridon. Hopefully setting a trend for such much needed stopovers.

Just needs more if this that is easy to set up , gives landowners a small income but needs local councils supporting them

Love it mate, do you have any advice regarding travel from NW England?
We have 5 sites booked for August but with the restrictions atm we aren't sure if we will be able to travel.
I think further advice is coming but not sure when?
Super excited but also apprehensive as to the state of play.
Did consider cancelling and going to Norfolk instead which is also a beautiful part of the UK.
Thanks and keep up the great videos. 👍👍

I believe the current advice is as follows: travel to and from Blackburn with Darwen and Bolton is only allowed for permitted reasons. Travel to and from Manchester and Salford is only allowed for permitted reasons from Monday 21st June. It's a rapidly changing picture so I'd advise you to keep checking with the Scottish Government website. I hope you manage to get your holiday. These have been dreadful times for everyone, apart from Government ministers, MP's and advisors who appear to do what they like... LOL.
