Thank you, the first demo of a Bigsby that the guitar player uses the Bigsby!!! Thank you very much. I have seen 20 demos of Bigsby and they didn't use it!!!
FANTASTIC! 😆 59 years of playing guitar and I had no clue what the pickers were doing. I simply assumed it was the steel player in the band. Talk about a fun revelation!
Based on watching this video, I have just got Forrest to install a B bender & a Bigsby. The result is amazing, and so is the quality of work. A great guy to deal with too. Go ahead get this done for yourself, you'll be really glad you did!
Oh myyyy... dude you make me wanna throw these 6 string arpeggios and crazy tapping licks in the dumpster and run back to my drawing board to start learning country licks....thank you I think? Lol great playing btw bud keep it up
yeah. Ive got one. But you cant drop the G like Im doing in the video while independently raising the b string. My benders are strap activated so using the bigsby to drop other strings while still being able to use the bigsby is the ultimate goal.
This is crazy good!! Thanks for sharing and crushing my eggshell mind of what's possible!! Please, where did you get your b-bender kit? I'm inspired to attempt something similar.
I make benders. Pretty much quit touring because I'm so busy doing bender installs. Nobody sells a kit really, because there are caveats to kits. But there are a handful of great bender guys. You get what you pay for. So take that into consideration before you send your guitar away. Just like an auto mechanic, do as much research as possible. And if you can, test drive one before making the decision. Benders all feel different.
Or I can install my Forrest Custom Double benders, and add a bigsby to drop the D and E strings. But I find it more useful to be able to drop the G and D.
Very cool! For a long time I've been thinking about installing a Bigsby on my Nashville B-bender Telecaster, but you're saying in your comment below that the bender would have to be installed after the Bigsby. So is there absolutely no chance of making this work?
you may be able to add a bigsby to a Fender Bender. they just weigh so much tho. so a bigsby will add even more weight. and you will have to replace the bridge. Im working on a new bridge that should fix a couple of those issues.
Sounds awesome. Stock squier bridge pickup or upgrade? Also do you use a higher rated pot (like 500k) to get the bright sound? Did you not like the filtertron? Sorry for all the questions!
Dont work that way... you gotta put the bender in after because the bigsby will hit the bender button. shoot me an email and I'll show you what I did. The bender has to be about 3/4" behind the usual spot, and you'll need a longer pull rod. Forrest Sales at ForrestCustomGuitars dot com
+Forrest Lee Jr I would like to see how you installed this. I have a B&W Bender on a Chinese Tele and would appreciate some closeups of your setup. Is yours a B5 Bigsby?
Dude, i was thinking i'd never seen a trem on a b-bender and really wanted to build one. I had considered a bigsby but honestly my gretsch has put me off of them for now. So i was considering a jazzmaster bridge. Ofcourse you already had this idea 4 years ago! How is it now that you've beenplaying it for a while? Do you find you play it a lot? Is mechanically sound? Intonation issues? I might set it up as a slide rig wouldnt that be fucking crazy. Lol and put those gibson robot tuners so i can do open tunings on the fly.... About the only aplication of those things that i think may be useful. Ofcourse this is more of a dream build. It'll be 2 or 3 years down the road before i can actually build it. Maybe get a MIM tele used that just needs a little tlc.
Atmos it's a 71 Princeton I put a 12" Roland speaker in. Its become my #1 session amp. But when this was recorded, I was just using it for a shop amp to test after bender installs.
Cool man !! Thanks for courtesy of a decent reply. Still diggin' & love your attack & sound !!... I use a Fender 'Super 6o'- & thinkin of tryin' in a spare MusicMan 12" (Old sQ magnet & very clean) I also have an oldish Jerry Donahue- JapTele- & thinkin of fittin'g a short Bigsby (like yours) I got it 25yrs back, he made a few for Fender with a big 'F' in place, not Bigsby.( v'sweet ). I could also add a rolling B' bender. I think that could work/ be handled (Just gotta pluck up the bottle-to screw into the face of my JD -Tele. ? )
Might work. Problem is your gonna have trouble bending up with the palm, then dropoingvat the same time with the bigsby. There are lots of options, but the only readable to me is a strap activated bender, as I don't want to impede my right hand technich, and palm muting, so strap activated works best, and you can move the bigsby arm out off the way for shredding the speed twang! Cheers!
I’m honestly surprised some time of time vortex didn’t open up when you had both the bender and the bigsby engaged.
Thank you, the first demo of a Bigsby that the guitar player uses the Bigsby!!! Thank you very much. I have seen 20 demos of Bigsby and they didn't use it!!!

Wow!!!!!!!! That's amazing sound with the bigsby!!!!!!! And it looks cooler now!!!😁
Wow what a cooler byproduct of having both b bender and bigsby
Amazing idea with really cool results!
Love it.Thats pretty genius.
Boscoe ,
hope to jam with you in Dallas.
Would love to see a foot actuated bending system....
Could even have a pedal for every string...
He's now done that on a recent video :)
Oh myyyy... dude you make me wanna throw these 6 string arpeggios and crazy tapping licks in the dumpster and run back to my drawing board to start learning country licks....thank you I think? Lol great playing btw bud keep it up
@@creamwobbly agreed... challenge accepted the gauntlet is set, thank you btw practice starts now
That is pretty cool! Sounds sweet!
Great set up!!!
Thats awesome. Great tone too!

Super cool but if you buy a pedal Steel Guitar....You'll find lots os licks....I do the inverse, findin somes tele licks on my Steel Guitar.....LOL
What b-bender system are you using in that?
Amazing!!! Can the Bigsby be added to a guitar that already has an existing double bender installed into it?
What bridge are you using? This is super cool!

Forest Lee Jr, that's just too cool Man .Is that special order from fender ?
This is awesome! Bravo!
Very cool brother
have you seen the B-Blender? You could have a dedicated B and G bender on your tele
Or I can install my Forrest Custom Double benders, and add a bigsby to drop the D and E strings.
But I find it more useful to be able to drop the G and D.
Looks like a real fender bender ;)
Beautiful. I love it.
DUDE!!!! AWESOMENESS!!
Cool. You cool put a Floyd on it so you could bend up and down. That would be very interesting
Very cool idea!
I have a DeArmond with a Bigsby....need to rig up a B Bender
thats insane

Great vid!
I like that idea. May have to check it out one day...peck
impressive
Who installed the b bender and are there any special considerations when installing a bigsby on a tele with a b bender?
Who installed it? LoL.
For some reason some of that sounded like the theme music from the Rockford Files.
Very nice! Now to find a Bigsy to put on on bender Tele!

Forrest Lee Jr Hello there sir, i would like to know how you do the installation, of the bigsby, and the b bender. Really nice sounding guitar.
TIA.
+Forrest Lee Jr I would like to see how you installed this. I have a B&W Bender on a Chinese Tele and would appreciate some closeups of your setup. Is yours a B5 Bigsby?
I dont have it anymore. But Im pretty sure it wont work with a B&W. Send a picture of youre bridge.
TOTALLY COOL!
Great work
Very nice, is this in standard tuning?
standard with the E string dropped to D.
1:13 reminds me of Jackson Browne's Late For The Sky
awesome!!
Thats really cool. B bender guitars are expensive. I guess that will be my excuse for not having one.

Gorgeous tone man! What are you running through?
I was going to ask the same thing.
Genius
fucking badass
I'm too dumb to operate all this ;) But I like the idea of the b & g
Bad ass
Great sound -Bud ! What amp is that ?
