Parts of this feel like field music from Final Fantasy XIV (If you're not familiar with the game, trust me, this is a compliment), and others remind me of classic Mychael Dayna and his music for the Planets, Stars, and Galaxies planetarium presentation that I am sure I watched no less than 20 times when I was a teen. It's a nice composition. I also love that you're using Eastwest, they produce beautiful sample sets.🙂
Thank you for the kind words! Funny enough I haven't listened to Final Fantasy XIV or Mychael Dayna, but I'll be sure to check them out! Yes Eastwest is very nice, still learning how to get a better/smoother sound though. Hopefully improving in that regard with each new composition 😅
Thank you! Yes, credit would be nice but definitely free to use; this is just a passion project on the side. The general process involves improvising on guitar/piano until I find something nice, putting it into notation software, improvising some more until I've written out a full complete score, exporting as MIDI into a DAW and using the sample library plugins to get the final sound. The DAW part is something I'm still working on; getting a better sound with the libraries I have has been tough for sure, but slowly improving, I think!
I really enjoyed this. You’re so talented!
Thank you so much Amelia! That means a lot from coming from you :)
