Myself and my young lady are going there in February 2023. This will be our 3rd time. Love Caleta. Love to retire there. Greetings from UK . Thanks for bringing back memories.
Off there for the second time in Feb 24, I absolutely love Caleta De Fuste (its a hard T like FUST - you don't pronounce the "e") it is a quite British place yes, but not a party place at all, very laid back and tranquil. The beach is amazing, China shop is the largest most comprehensive tat shop ever, the entertainment at Piero's is brilliant, Firkin is superb for lunch/breakfast and as far as evening meals go you just can't beat Fado Rock. At the other end of the beach there is also a big modern shopping centre - C.C. Atlantico. The best thing to do in Calata by far though is Obeycat - never been on a boat excursion better!
Cheers Dave ,stayed in that resort about 17 years ago broncemar beach apartments and really enjoyed but was very quiet and the shopping centre was only built but thanks for the memories . Hope you SEALED the deal 😃💯👍
we got a last minute deal to CDF about five years ago, had never been to Fuerteventura and we had a great holiday. Not an awful lot for young kids but we have been back twice for a week during the October break and would thoroughly recommend it as a holiday.
we just got back last night…stayed in elba lucia in costa antigua. Spent most of the time heading to costa caleta as we were surrounded by building sites and we are familiar with caleta. One bonus was all the hotels offered a free shuttle into caleta although we went back on foot along the front. One place I would suggest for our british friends is the dog and duck pub in caleta. Located under the san jorge hotel near the front. 2 pool tables, a bagatelle table and a full size snooker table!! €2.50 a pint…cant go wrong!!
@@MrTravelONWorld I think that part of fuerteventura is still in development although some buildings did look derelict. It was what it was and we didnt let it spoil our hol. The kids had a geat time
Stayed in August and was surprised that most of the shops didn’t open until 10:30 and then closed for siesta as we normally go to Playa Blanca where things are open all day. We are staying in Matagorda in November and looking forward to exploring the area
Weve decided to go here in 6 weeks! Married, mid 30s. Were hoping for plenty pubs and resteraunts, and would be great if there was live music. Does it have all these things?? Thanks.
I’m booked to go this month and I’m dreading it now after you pointing out it’s a brits resort 🙈 The Sun ,paper, HP sauce, tattoos, cheap beer. Oh no ! Will hide at the resort for the week or rent a car.. I feel trapped like that sea lion now
Lovely resort…Great for families and couples of all ages ..Nothing like you imagine..No beer swilling Brits..Laid back and relaxed.😎 😅You will have a ball if you get out and explore the resort and island… Myself and my wife are once again Due back again on the 29th of May for a week’s break….😊
Looks a lovely area ,but I totally agree with you about the seals born free and let them be so ,and not right to keep them in that way shame on them . But sorry about the bit of a rant ,keep up the vlogs we love them .
Thanks for doing these videos which are so helpful
Glad you like them!

What a situation. Searching for a hot sunny winter destination to escape British weather and society, just to bump into them there....😂😂

Plenty for you
Go when places are open!

With Costa Caleta being situated fairly close to the airport, do you find that planes flying overhead create a bit of noise pollution?
Not really maybe in matagorda
@@MrTravelONWorld ahh sorry I meant Caleta De Fuste of course, excuse me XD
Would recommend corealejo rather than caleta? Can’t decide which one to go to with my partner
