Saw it today, it is exceptional

There's a saying that goes like this if there's something u really wanna do just go for it even if people don't support ur dreams just focus on the dream and it will come true
There's also another saying that goes like this; don't believe in everything you hear.
Lot's of people follow their dreams, and most don't come true. That doesn't mean you shouldn't follow them, you should, but have some realistic expectations.

the point is that we hear your take constantly and its limiting your self in a sense. its common sense to be realistic but you should still shoot for outlandish goals as a young man with no responsibility. that is your prime. you dont understand how little time we have on this earth it seems. if this man in the video listened to you then he would probably be working at McDonalds. what this man accomplished is highly unrealistic so he'd be a bum with you in his corner because you'd most likely tell him to not pursue this @@cobracommander8133

Aint no way bro didnt actually mention Jann’s real flying crash that killed a spectator. It just sounded super unbelievable at first for a heavy gt3 car to flip and fly like a mercedes in le mans.
note: its important to know that the flip actually happened 2 years after the lmp2 podium. but anyways its still sad to know that drivers nissan academy produced, didnt really have much of a career(it ran for years on multiple countries).
True story and actual events are different things. Gran Turismo is more of a movie based on actual events, sort of.
Yes, there was one in 2013. Watch that one first. Its incredible. They start off playing games and make it to become real racers.

not really the only thing days of thunder and this movie have it common is its racing. and even that is different. Stock car racing is extremely different then GT500 racing and formula 1 racing@@armandtroiano

wonder why mardenborough? and not lucas ordonez or a few of the other gamer to real life racers from gt academy? did the crashes and fatalities sway the decision for a better movie and character..... im assuming the real life mardenborough isnt anything like the on screen actor as in attitude personality?
I'd suggest for "diversity". In the clip where he gets out of the burning race car then the car has rainbow livery (LGBT) and there's rainbow livery on his race suit and helmet.
@@chrisf9377 not at all - Jann was the most successful driver to graduate from GT Academy so it makes sense to tell his story to show the 'success' of the program and also for the audience's benefit. As for the 'diversity', I don't think that was the intention with the burning car. That car is an Audi but Audi's great German rival at Le Mans is Porsche. Porsche ran with a 'rainbow' livery at the Le Mans 24 hours this year and that was to pay homage to their 75 years of racing heritage and racing liveries over the years. I suspect (as all the featured liveries are custom ones made for the sake of the movie), this was just a subtle nod to that particular racing livery or took inspiration from it (even the Nissan livery in the movie - white, is completely different to the real life Le Mans livery they used - red).

The person you are talking about is schull the german racer in the movie that is the bully on the race track. I pretty sure there was no political representation of anything in the movie as i have watched this movie 2x now.

I wasn't expecting much at first going into the theater, but the movie was so good I ended up watching it twice. To bad the movie has a bad stigma having a first impression of being a video game advertisement movie. I didn't know director Neil Blomkamp made this movie until the ending credits.

not that he was too fast it was because he wasn't winning races and Nissan ended its partnership with GT and went with another driver. while Jann had faster lap times he wasn't a good technical driver and speed isn't everything in racing. the other guy while not as fast was just a better driver and had more consistent wins

A fake true story lol, people gunna be upset when they find out they're starting from scratch with a hundia accent and not a Nissan GT.
I really enjoyed the movie but gt7 is no simulator. Arcade at best.
Id call it a semi-simulator. It has some mechanics of full racing sims but a little watered down for the general masses. Arcade games are more like forza, need for speed, etc.
Gt 7 is still a simulator but not as fully as like asseto corsaa or iracing
I hope they have the gt 2 opening song on the soundtrack

LOl....They had a female in the movie racing....I would be my life savings if this was base on a true story, this did NOT happen if they were just going by scores and not know the race and sex of the players.

How is playing a video game on a controller setting you up for a real car makes no sense grand Troismo is a fictional video game
@AnthonyHeadway if you play it as intended, it is a driving/racing simulator. One of the few sims that are realistic. The proper setup is very close to real life.
@@AnthonyHeadwaywell it happened so deal with it lol. Plus a large chunk of GT players don’t use controllers but racing set ups with steering wheels, shifters, and pedals.
