And a round applause for your editor, so fun to watch☺️ My "make up" routine has been the same for more then 15 years😅 mascara, eyeliner and blush (Rouge) just these three. I would like to try new looks especially with eye make up and foundation but I'm just not good at it tho. And I didn't find any foundation my skin could handle.
I love wearing makeup! My favorite palettes are palettes from Pride season because they always have a variety of colors so I can usually blend them and make whatever bright shades I want and then add in darks or lights to give depth.
I've seen this game offered to me multiple times. I never wanted it cause I figured it would be awful. Now that it has your stamp of approval I guess I will have to try it.
I really loved the muted palette from level 3, the one with the pinks, purple, green, and brown. As a cosplayer I’d absolutely buy it if it were real. So much potential for a ton of characters lol

It really calms me down after a hard day. The pictures do repeat after a while, but I don’t mind that. When you can change the textures of your makeup, the colors can get more vibrant depending on what texture you choose.

You´re right, the game would have been so much better if we could try the palettes out! I thought it would be like that, at the beginning. I guess you could take screenshots and swatch it to paint, but I dont do digital art, so I wouldnt know
I don't wear makeup either, so it doesn't really really appeal to me from that angle. Buuuuut what I DO like about it a lot is that it's a really easy way to generate color palettes that you can then use for art or coloring (like Sarah Renae Clark's Color Catalog!). I'm always on the look out for interesting palettes, and this game is a really handy way to make them myself. It's also interesting from the perspective of learning more about color mixing. Great find!
She should definitely play: decor life. I play it myself and its really relaxing and easy! There’s a story mode as-well if you get bored:) tho it can be addicting 😂
Interesting looking game. I wear makeup mostly on a occasion and my favorite makeup palette is Rose edition by Essence. It has some brown, red, gold, pale pink etc up to 9 colors. For my nails, i use pretty much pastels ja glitter and shiny ones, but I like using some darker colors. For clothes, I like neutral and earthy colors, but I can't resist some cute colors. I'm not a huge fan of patterns on clothes, especially if it's something that hurts my eyes lol, but i like some simple patterns. I like pretty much all the colors on rainbow, neutrals and pastels. Some neon yeah, unless it hurts my eyes to look at lol 😂

If I had to pick makeup colors, right now I feel like more bright but not too bright?? It changes depending on how I'm feeling. Also, after I watched this video I downloaded the game to see it by myself, even though u explained it pretty well, I just like doing that sometimes. And i found at THAT YOU CAN PUT MORE THAN ONE COLOR IN ON PLACE!! I got so excited when I saw that, it made the game more fun! If you ever get back to it into the future, just know that you don't have to have one color in every place, it can be more and you can't see it in the video (because they are the same color), but it blends the corner ones too! I love your videos and you are just amazing, I live your vibe and watch both of your channels, and they are both soooooooo interesting!!! Thank you!!
I downloaded this a couple weeks ago and it's a nice no think king of game. After a while the images will repeat but it just give you a chance to try different colors out. ^_^
Also, I have a 36 colour gel nail kit and I use a number wheel picker to firstly pick whether to use 1-5 different colours on my nails then I use the wheel to pick what nail polish I use based on where they are in the box so like the 6th nail polish, the 12th, and the 30th… I do the same with my eyeshadow and my eyeliner as I have multi coloured liquid liners, like green, red, orange, or I get my fiancé to pick random numbers for me and select my colours based on the numbers he gives me! I currently have turquoise, purple and yellow finger nails, and the colours actually go really well together… I also colour match based on what I’m wearing, like the other day I had a green dress on so I used green liquid liner with like dark green eyeshadow!
Jackie I think you have single handedly made me addicted to this game. I downloaded it, turned on Airplane mode, and I sat on my bed for at least TWO WHOLE HOURS with the game. ...You know what, I'm gonna go play it some more!

I'm a makeup artist on the book of da face and this game is so stinking fun because I really wondered how they choose colors for some of my favorite palates and themes
Something I'm noticing is that the character pictures practically already have a working palette in them, including the results of when you blend the brightest colours, so it'll never feel entirely off.
I use makeup but not in the traditional way. I'm allergic to make up as well but I love the colors of makeup sometimes in some pallets so I will buy eyeshadow and use it as pigment for resin
There is a Barbie Game for the computer from 1999 called Barbie Digital Makeover that let you create makeup in different machines and then apply them to a barbie model or a picture of your own face! I hyperfixated on that game for a loooooong time
when it comes to make-up, i prefer either dark tones such as brown, black, bronze for the eyes and bordeaux, copper, black for the lips or white for the eyes and natural tones for the lips.

Jackie, it's color theory. If you want brighter colors, stop putting hues from opposite sides of the color wheel next to eachother. A side note about makeup: the shimmer texture visually mutes the pan Edit: like the umbrella picture palette would have been brighter with the blue and red switched

Ever since 13 my clothing and make-up has been all black all the time with black eye liner and some dark red or black lipstick. Was told it was a phase in my younger years but I'm 37 now and this so called "phase" is still going strong lol

At most you only mixed 4 colors. But in the beggining you accidently placed extra colors. I think you could have explored that more so you could end up with less browns. I would like this game if they let you use the makeup after creating it.

You can actually fill each circle with diff colors instead just 4 and blending them
