This video is only to show you how to make a flower granny square , it’s not about how to attached them or even how to make the entire top.
I will make a reel on how to make Half of the
square.

Question 1: how do u make the half/triangle pieces? Could u make a tutorial?
Question 2: did u do anything with the neck squares to make them form that really cute wavy edge or does that naturally happen after you sew them together? If u did, what stitch? Could u also make a tutorial?

Hi is the yarn in the colour cream or off white?
Small tip: use a 5mm hook. I used a 3.5mm it was only when I started putting together 17 pieces of my granny squares together when I noticed they could only fit a cabbage doll 😭😭

I use slip stitches to sew anything and it’s tight and turns out great!

I think slip stitches were used to connect the squares (around the sides of each square not just the corners)

You can use the mattress stitch or just sewing them together with a yarn needle :)

i tried this yesterday- i ended up with like 12 petals instead of 8 though. do i skip some of the posts?
I think it’s because when you needed to make 3DC you’ve made them in the stitch of the petal instead of the next stitch

I found this really hard to follow, does anyone have the pattern?
I love this tutorial but I made it and it is so small. I dont know if my squares or anything were to small but I am certain I did something wrong!
You can add a row or more to every square so your top can be bigger , mine is also really small but this tutorial was mainly to show how to make a square and not really about the top ☺️

My kitchen scale marked 4 grams each square, remember calculating that plus the two front triangles and the yarn for the joining
